Hi Bro Benny,
I would like to ask how do I flash my HD2 to Android? From your past previous post I'm quite lost. Do I need to Flash it to ChuckyDroid ROM before placing the mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense 1.7?

Or can I just jump from my current Dutty's Rom -> mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense 1.7?

Thank you in advance

You can maintain your windows rom. Just download the android rom, extract it n copy the android folder ionto your sd card. On windows use file explorer locate the android folder on card, run clrcad ( you will have no respond , is to enable sound) follow by haret.exe. Phone will flash n takes about a minute n you will have android up.

I always advise you use a fresh format sd card to eliminate issues possibly attributed to rom or windows. Backup all sd card contents first. After successfully have android install, just copy back all your contents

Changing to another android rom is freaking simple, just replace the android folder on card with the new android folder you extract from the new rom zip file

I would suggest you read up first to see whether your present window rom has any issue with the android. Actually most new window rom cooked in the last one month should work , perhaps have issues with those older version

Thank you very much Benny, So it's fine for me to flash to latest Artemis ROM and then copy the "mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense 1.7" into my freshly formated SD CARD (Flash with the WinMo's Format SD Card program). Then "run clrcad ( you will have no respond , is to enable sound) follow by haret.exe.?

Does this means that i will have dual ROM bootup?

Hmm.. Benny, I flashed my ROM with Energy.
Somehow its contain built in Androids? There is a "Launch Android" When i hit it, it flash to Android. Though i have Froyo in my SD card, will this means that its actually flashing to the Froyo?

On the site note, before I hit the Launch Android's button, i try to navigate to my Android Folder with File Explorer. Then run the clrcad follow by haret.exe. Once restart it stucked at the lock screen.

When i click the clrad, nothing happened. But how do i know if it's running or when it will run finish?

Thanks

Please advise which Android rom and Windows rom - please give me full version name ? I dont quite understand your comments. With your rom details, maybe I can advise you better
I'm using:
ROM Version:
28, Aug 2010 WWE (Energy) Energy Download
Radio Version: 2.12.50.02.2

Using this Android's ROM:
Android

For some reason even after running the "CLRCAD".exe nothing seems to change at all.. How do I know it finish running? Then when I run the Haret.exe it just load everything fine. Then it booted in Android. Then it stucked at the Lock Screen.

HsLimMC : This is an example of a Windows Rom that comes with built Android boot loader. But the Energy rom you mention I didn't see such details in his summary of features:

Regarding the earlier Energy Rom that i have, it has a built in Android booter. It will run the CLAD and Haret in the SD card if it found.

Thanks for the barebone Android ROM smile.gif i'm downloading it for testing. Hehe, oh ya.. Btw Benny, is there anyway to share our contact list between WM and Android?

Thanks smile.gif

hwchua, normally after task29. when it says 100% completed, your phone will reboot. When the whole screen is black. Quickly press and hold down the Volume Down button. This will bring your phone to USB mode.

From there you can then flash to other ROM smile.gif

Hmm, Benny. When you are using the Froyo 1.7's camera, do you find it sometimes hang, and unable to snap picture?
Then you will need to turn it off and restart the application to use it again?
