IIRC, steam had SotS (including all the expansions) for USD20. Seems good to me. SotS is really like Total War in space wink.gif

The Assassin's Creed 2 Standard Edition offer is mighty tempting.

No discount for the Deluxe Edition...

Is the Deluxe Edition worth it? Very big price difference with the offer now.

Hmm... hope it's not a sign of butthurt. Anyway, it doesn't matter since it's us, the customers that get the most benefit at the end of the day. thumbup.gif

Of course, more competition better for customers.

I have yet to try Gamers Gate. Might do that soon enough.

I think steam and gamers gate are evenly match in some way

Gamers Gate download the game like retail which mean can install on other drive instead lke steam which fixed on a drive

Gamers Gate will jammed ur purchase if fail attempt on 4th times for 24hours instead of steam 20-30min.

What bad about gamers gate is, it doesnt have community like steam.. so if u combine both = winrar!

not yet test the gift part though, might expand my business to gamersgate after i know more about it.

That is a major security risk, especially the same password.

On a side note, GG also offers blue coin rewards for each purchase. These can be used to purchase games if u've got the right amount.
U can earn them by rating the games u've bought, writing reviews etc. Plus your membership status (white green black etc) can determine the amount of discount you get on certain games.

wat i do is depend on the content of the website

if it was non-profit like LYN = then i will use easy to rmb pass and username

if it was like email/steam/GG = then i will use advanced password

so in the end i just rmb few username and password onli

Heh... with the digital age we're in right now, password management is as vital as keeping your wallet secured. Email, Facebook, games with DRM such as StarCraft 2, office workstation... all these are non-DD related yet they still need passwords. biggrin.gif

Maybe you'll find password manager such as KeePass useful? Don't take me wrong though, I'm not in any way sanctioning KeePass as the best out there.

The bolded part!

I really had a hard time convincing existing Steam users to try GamersGate... even at times when GG was giving better discount compared to Steam. sad.gif

That might because there's people like me, for example, who prefer all the game to stick on one platform than Many many other platform.

Easier to keep track on our spending + games.

Not to mentioned Steam have that community friendly services.
