Did you notice any worsening of video quality? I saw a comment elsewhere that 2.2 video is totally unfocused.

2.1 video is better than photos, so don't want to lose this with 2.2.

didn't test on the video..seldom watch and record videos..
the only thing i know that it has overall slow response even i OC to 1ghz..now i would better stick with eclair until i get another android phone..

Backup thru nandroid open recovery ...only tick on system and boot, then backup..wallaa...now your 2.2 rom stock ady backup ...

all sifu of milestone, i have a few questions wanna to ask, but i lazy to view the older post cause it's too many, so following is my questions,please lend me ur brain and teach me
1.Why is my motorola milestone 1 (MM1) is laggy during gaming or sliding of home screen???
2.Is it the RAM effect my mm1? cause my internal memory never exceed than 100mb.
3.How can I fasten the performance (in gaming or sliding of home screen)?? By increase the RAM which mean internal memory?? but how??
4.Why isit my mm1 battery drained fast and get hot easily??Normal for it??
5.Lastly, should I upgrade to 2.2 froyo instead of 2.1 eclair??which one is faster performance??

if u update to froyo, it probably become laggy n slow
but if u update to latest 2.1 eclair, it will solved battery drain n hot issue

use memory optimizer, overclock app, off all data, gps, screen brightness to improve battery

install launcher pro to make it faster a bit (homescreen)

but i seldom use it cos its line got barred, just use wifi for browsing

cm7 got nice screen shutdown..like tv when switch off

Haha, I think this thread was never that speedy to begin with. All the other phones have gone way past V2 and we're still stuck here. The only time traffic had a sudden increase was when the "official" Froyo came out.

aisay, makes me feel like we are very outdated & like an old man being forgotten..but my milestone just less than one year old .....still very young ma.
