i'm still using my MS. after update to official Froyo, update kernel to Arab/Africa, using apps2sd with ext2 on memory card, some editing to build.prop, my MS very stable and fast ard. except for the random reboot few days once.

all sifu, wanna ask why my milestone line coverage like very low, sometimes hard to detect line too,and show up emergency calls only. isit any problem on hardware???

yes, of coz can. just flash the "Vulnerable Recovery" so that you can run "Open Recovery" to root it.

i dunno Milestone 1 click root works with 2.2, so can't comment of that.


you using Digi? i also experience such problem at some place. last time Maxis didn't have such problem.
if got friend using same Operator, see he also got low signal or not.

typical weekend, but quite a lot of calls this few days, less e-mail, less browsing since using home pc for browsing.
checked my battery bar still left 30%, means should last till tonite before need recharge.
checked how long since i last recharge:


was quite surprised, almost 50 hours!
and no reboot also.

wow Xbox..that looong battery life.
i cant hold that long for new rom MIUI Ginger.8~9 hour.
do you try latest MIUI GB 15 April release. seem stable.
camera OK. memory access speed faster 30Mbps++ read. test using SD tools.
long time leave CM6 as i read it will be final soon. so CM6 almost stable and perfect.

i'm using official 2.2, OC to 800mhz

you using the miui 4/15? but battery can last 8-9 hours only?
but i don't really like the I-phone icons.
btw, miui better than cm7?

seem stable for me than cm7 HO!NO!. camera stable and more smooth than cm7 HO!NO!.
last time my HP always force close, now seem stable.almost all functioning, except wifi tether. but now can tether using old skool eclair wifi tether software.works charms.
more function in MIUI setting as its launcher good. i dont use launcherpro anymore.just try ADW EX, but change back to stock MIUI.

I using digi too. I facing this problem either outside or even in my house...now the problem more worse, it will auto end my calls while i talking with my fren,mayb bcuz of low signal??? anyone face same problem??

last time when use CM7, the only better feature than 2.2 for me is the marker when selecting text.

maybe because of low signal. i also experience auto end call when at low signal places.

is that any hardware problem and cause low signal happen frequently???

like i said, last time when i was using Maxis, i didn't experience low signal in some places that i'm now experiencing.

you may try to change your network settings by choosing your preferred network instead of "select automatically"

I have once having issue like call disconnected suddenly & thought it was either the phone or the network problem, later found out the culprit is the auto task killer. If you have installed auto task killer & have set it to auto kill app, you may try to disable auto kill. After i uninstalled my auto task killer, all the problems solved.

is it true it can only 8-9 hours? i read somewhere,muiu's batt life better than any other rom. hmm, i plan to switch to MIUI as its seem better than CM7. i hate the iPhone style but wanna have stable rom. maybe using launcher pro once flashed. currently using CM6. ok but not that smooth sometimes.

official 2.2? doesn't it lag and the sensitivity sucks?

btw, any recommended sd card for milestone? the recommended size and seller
