If the news are true, Ramires is already a Chelsea player, having undergone medical last Saturday. All he needs now is a working permit to complete the puzzle.

As for Rajkovic, not to say we don't welcome him. The implementation of youth policy in CFC is not very profound. Even if he's recalled, I doubt he will be thrown straight into action. Even youngsters who are currently with the first team like Van Aanholt and Bruma can hardly get minutes on the pitch. Bear in mind Dutch League is very much different than BPL. Just see Stoch, f*ckin amazing form for FC Twente and look where's he at now?

i dont know whats going on the training grounds but it could either be ancelotti thinks that he isnt good enough. 30 mil for a 23 brazilian defender and a defender thats ours at the same age, i still think its better to bring home rajkovic. first of all, even if we bought luiz, he is definitely going to reserves. terry iva and alex will be first choice.

a few games in the world cup doesnt mean he is going to perform that way all season. last season his mistakes cost us a few points and we cannot tolerate that. besides, riccy is old, so might as well cash in on him since he wants to reunite with mourinho anyways.

regardless, he has been giving his all for us as a Blue and we all thank him for his services.

yet i'm sad. i'm kinda admiring the way he play. hopefully CA will buy new player to fill his post.

Riccy is among the best performer on the pitch back in 2004/2005 season..he was clever with the ball yet in the same time as hard as a steel on the back..remember how he kept Torres in his pocket in UCL match..

this season is really something different, lots of high profile player offloaded but only one signing..

Resign Gallas? Since hes already a free agent and I doubt we can find a suitable replacement in such short period of time. Or we can start to use our Michael Mancienne!

so in terms of quantity, CA doesn't lose any ... benayoun replace j.cole, essien replace ballack and bosingwa replace belletti ... in fact ramires will be join soon ...

both essien and bosingwa almost not playing last season ...

for carvalho, i believe he will make a signing soon as 4 establish CB is needed for a season ...

lol. you are so right. we actually have replaced everyone that we've lost this season. LOL. i never really thought of this.

yes we need another center back and i also dont think its wise to splash 20-30m, because unless we are signing defenders like vidic, im quite sure luiz will be on the bench most of the time. terry plays almost every game and if only alex and iva get injured that luiz will play, if we happen to purchase him.

I'd think a new defender would be coming in soon, short of options now. Either completely new (signed) or promotion from the reserves.

I'm just thinking about depth, i.e. enough quality to replace those who left. Def huge shoes to fill the likes of Deco, Carvalho, Ballack etc, very very experienced esp in European play.

Bosingwa already fit or still injured ?
