i seriously dont think our current reserves are able to take the center back role. even bruma isnt convincing and throwing him in the prem might cost us some points. where is sam? is he still injured?

hmm, without 1 exp defender... not that i think he is that superb, but still we need to get 1 more, if 1 of the current defenders are out...

essien for CB again ??? but it's a waste.

The transfer window closes at the end of September. Plenty of time left for us to get some decent cover for our central defence. As for Sam, he's back from injury quite sometime ago. In fact, if you notice, he travelled with the 1st team throughout the pre-season.

i still remember his cross for lampard to score a simple great goal at the end of the season but i've never seen him after that.

Aha! That match against Stoke if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, gotta agree he has hardly featured since then. That's the thing about our youth policy. Once you over excited over the glimpse of talent shown by the youngster, it's either he will be loaned out or rot on the 1st team bench.

Trade off la bro. Success v youth development. Agreed that they need time to play, but the 'cost' of success is so much higher now, any failures/slightest mistake will cost the club (titles-wise). JT came in at the right time, when the club was still in pre-RA cash-tight mode.

I'm certainly not lamenting about the poor youth policy. In truth, I do not have a problem with that actually. Just highlighting the fact this is how we rock n roll in Chelsea. I do not care if you are Michael Essien or Josh McEachran, it's all about teamwork and stability. I will leave it to Carlo to decide what is best for the squad.

this is what i thought too. i saw a few classic games on astro and JT at that time isnt any good at all. but still im in support of bringing up the youth in our squad, of course most of the fans, including myself, will not be patient enough

hopefully one of them will advanced through and gain a regular spot in the first team giving the rest of the youth more hope.

to be honest i think this kit is really ugly. however, if it doesnt come along with those bad performance jinx, i wouldnt mind

currently CFC has 26 players, if ramires comes in, 27....but have to throw-out 2 players in order to be 25 players as per rule... who will face the axe, surely one of the youngsters...could be either kakuta, borini, bruma, matic, hutchinson, mancienne, or van aanholt.
for me i will vote-out bruma & hutchinson.
