QUOTE(kink_ass @ Aug 10 2010, 02:03 AM) how did you rate paulo's performance as great kinda amazes me. not so great...but definitely better than cole...thought he was slow when attacking and a good decision to take him out for bruma (though he was beaten by berba for the last goal). QUOTE(gry @ Aug 10 2010, 02:12 AM) totally agree with you. Chelsea need new player at attacking. Exciting new player like Hernandez. Really envy when United got this superb talent. Sturridge maybe the solution at the right winger. Give him more game and surely he will deliver. Hernandez is great but..Sturridge is on the same level for me...QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Aug 10 2010, 02:41 PM) did the first thing that was asked of him, which was to defend well. i'd rather ashley emulate him on the day, instead of marauding forward and exposing us at the back. looked fresher than ashley and terry combined, while having a couple of good crosses into the middle. Me too..hernandez looked pretty good for utd, but i think we have someone better in the form of sturridge. i'd pick danny boy over him any day. Next Season Transfer..seriously... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Any1 agree with me?? |

QUOTE(gry @ Aug 10 2010, 06:12 AM) TRANSFER NEWS i'm sure one day chelsea will regret of selling sinclair he is f***ing good on wing,....Swansea capture Chelsea winger Sinclair Swansea have completed the signing of highly-rated Chelsea winger Scott Sinclair on a three-year deal for initial fee of £500,000. GettyImages Despite possessing bags of potential, Scott Sinclair failed to make the grade at Chelsea Sinclair, 21, who is well known to Swans' boss Brendan Rodgers from his days at the Stamford Bridge academy, failed to break into the first team at Chelsea and enjoyed just one start, with another four appearances coming from the bench. Swansea have paid an initial £500,000 to bring England Under-20 star Sinclair to the Championship, though the fee could rise to over £1million with appearances and performance-related add-ons. Sinclair has been sent out on several loan spells inr ecent years, with his clubs including Wigan, Crystal Palace and QPR, but despite his failure to break into the first-team picture at Chelsea, Rodgers believes the the move represents a real coup for the Swans. "Scott is obviously a player I know well and I am delighted to sign him,'' Rodgers told Swansea's official website. "He is a big talent and has been a sought-after player since he broke onto the scene. "As far as I am concerned there is no better place for him than Swansea City. With this group of players, style of football and fantastic fans, this will be a great club for his development. "He is only 21 and still has big potential. I think this will be a good home for him. He is a great signing for the present and the future and joins a group of exciting young players.'' Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins added: "While everyone is aware that we run a tight ship here financially, we will always invest in the team when funds are available. "I think this signing highlights our intent. It is also the club's priority to invest in bright, young talent wherever possible and I don't think you will find many young players with the talent Scott possesses.'' The deal remains subject to Premier League and Football League ratification, meaning Sinclair, who has represented England at every level up to Under-20, will not be available for Swansea's Carling Cup clash with Barnet on Wednesday. £500,000? Very cheap... This post has been edited by krk24: Aug 10 2010, 09:02 PM |

Kenyon has officially left Chelsea. He quit as CEO last year but took up a non-executive role soon after. He has now decided to quit completely to concentrate on his other endeavor.

i'd say just bring home rajkovic. we dont have to purchase. its no wonder ancelotti fielded in iva to partner terry, there was a deal going on all the way. but i do think its good that we offload some of the older players to bring in some younger legs into the team. we will be short of center backs if we dont bring in someone to replace riccy, bring home the big man!

QUOTE(kadS @ Aug 11 2010, 09:18 AM) not every player wants to play for barca. they should know better. look at benzema, an ace in lyon but benched in real, losing out to an argentine.we on the other hand have room for a right midfielder. if ozil really comes, it'd be great |

(correct me if im wrong) |

Most probable replacement would be David Luiz from Benfica. Rated at GBP27mil depending on which paper you read.
As for the question posted by a fellow forummer here, Mancienne is still a Chelsea player. Wolves will want him back on loan as per last season. The funny development is, he's now being played as a DM. This post has been edited by plokoon: Aug 11 2010, 10:21 AM |
