We need right back in case Bosingwa injured and Ferreira is leaving @ coming season. Yeah Ivanovic can replace but I reckon he should start sticking himself as a DC instead of RB. He has the potential to be the next Terry! tongue.gif My pick would be Dani Alves and Schweinsteiger.

As revealed by Soccernet two months ago, Benayoun had been made one of Carlo Ancelotti's primary targets for the summer. And now the Israel international has put pen to paper on a deal thought to be worth around £5 million.

When CA brought us the double, can't you guys believe his decision making on selecting the players? I believe Benayoun have his qualities to offer during his days in Chelsea and I believe in CA and every Chelsea player in the squad. Time will tell and prove us if Benayoun is a bargain buy or flop.

I enjoyed every moment watching the pools when Benayoun was brought in last 20 minutes or so. He always eager to make an impact and sometimes he does make a difference because he can go from left to right. smile.gif He scored dramatic win against RM in CL round 16 in Bernabéu, score against Fulham on 94th minute to bring 3 points, Give the pools to draw against Arsenal in 4-4 scoreline.

Everytime he play for pools, he always show he has the eager to prove he is the one. (Let's not be bias and judge him as a player, not club nor nationality) I sees motivation in him where I don't see in Gerrard's body language while they were losing.

You didn't get Wan's point. He meant we have sugar daddy to pump in the cash, whereas they spend the money from where they earn.

QUOTE(fariddarif @ Jul 5 2010, 02:02 AM)
every team needs to spend some good amount of money to strength up their own respective squad. deal and live with it...
*
Yes but the difference is that we have RA to pump in the money, Man Utd does not.

My last time at Modesto was CL final vs Man Utd. It's a little too far for me to go all the way there alone. >_< If they moving to PJ, great news! biggrin.gif

Why do we need Silva when we have Malouda, Zhirkov and Kalou? Not to mention future star Gaël Kakuta..

QUOTE(madfag @ Jul 26 2010, 09:00 AM)
you must be crazy. Kompany and Terry? I'd rather take Richards and put Iva with Terry!

De Jong is not bad to be honest.

yes, Deco and Riccy to leave.

Added on July 26, 2010, 9:13 amoh i almost forgot. we cant take any city players because we all hate them and they all hate us.

they're in TEAM BRIDGE remember.
*
Well if you looking to expand to a more English based player club, yeah Richards is a good choice. biggrin.gif But Kompany is the defender giving hard time to the strikers due to his height. smile.gif Since we need midfield cover, De Jong is actually an excellent choice. rclxm9.gif He and Benayoun also somewhat a runner midfield, but De Jong are more to like Makelele, heart of the squad!

Come to Chelsea!

QUOTE(madfag @ Jul 26 2010, 03:15 PM)
to be honest, we have no need for him, but if he does arrive, it would definitely be a bonus.

i like the switch deal you proposed laugh.gif
*
Hahaha, but the thing is that, if Chelsea do switch him over with Carvalho, where do we fit him into? He did mention he want to play regularly. I doubt we gonna get him cause we have one of the greatest midfielder, summore is English. tongue.gif

QUOTE(Alexdino @ Jul 26 2010, 09:14 PM)
i dont like his play style, too greedy something.
*
Hahaha.. Yeah sometimes he does keep ball to himself instead of passing around.

As for the pre-season result, it doesn't really worry me that much. I only worry about the injuries we currently facing, Cech to be precise. Like others said, we have no decent backup and our current backup keepers just not up to standard. Maybe they just came back from holiday, who knows. rolleyes.gif Drogba injured, got Anelka, Kalou, Sturridge. Alex got Ivanovic and Mancienne to cover. Cech injured, alamak. doh.gif

"Let me go Madrid!" Cole Pleaded

If this is true, no point to tie him. Might as well earn some big buck while we still can get from him. :/ Zhirkov can replace him anytime and we still have our youngsters.

"Play in England excites me." says Ozil.

Sign him! biggrin.gif Don't know why, I always have a feeling that German players are all tireless one. tongue.gif He can be our extra battery after Essien on defense midfield. biggrin.gif

Could it be their technique to force us to increase the price? hmm.gif When the deal is almost done, suddenly the "third party ownership" kicks in. dry.gif

Resign Gallas? Since hes already a free agent and I doubt we can find a suitable replacement in such short period of time. tongue.gif Or we can start to use our Michael Mancienne! smile.gif

He definitely can hold on another 1-2 more season. Midfielders are usually having their prime from 27-33. He did a class passing yesterday, nice little back flip to Malouda. Sweet pass. <3

Begovic's transfer rumor. Neymar will come if he wants to. No point in splashing money now since we already have established squad and a number of youngsters ready to step up.
