Matic and Stoch? Not so soon. I think there will be surprises in store for us after the WC 2010, in transfers. Chelsea has been prevalent in most of the rumours already, if you ask me.

@kerplunk - well not actually, only recently we are 'big' in the transfer market (ever since RA took over la).

before that, i remember 1 season we only had one signing...free somemore. DE LUCAS 21, rings a bell? smile.gif

Why all assuming CA's the one letting go of Stoch? Maybe Stoch wants to leave? Another case of being impatient maybe? Can't wait for another season on the bench/on loan?

Follows the footsteps of all our youngsters who have now gone to seek pastures anew at foreign grounds. Pity actually, I'd like to see the next JT who bided his time and became a stalwart later.

From the list provided by madfag, I don't mind Pato actually. Problem is, he may be too lightweight for the EPL, something like Kalou.

Suarez, Schweinsteiger and Hamsik also catches the eye, and they are mature enough having played European matches as well as play consistently in the other European leagues.

I'm sure the Management has done all that they could, we are def not privy to the negotiations, so let's not jump to conclusions shall we?

And yes, I'm sure Management would have something lined up to appease us Chelsea fans. 4 outs and more to follow (without transfers inwards) seems odd, especially when it's the season to defend our titles.

49 seems to be pretty cheap. i thought it was going to be 60 bucks. i hope the patches will be sold here before the premiership starts.

no worries madfag, you can still buy at Al-Ikhsan BB Plaza, their stock should come in soon too. maybe by end of the week.

the thing with Coley is that his salary increment was not really justified by his performances, thus to the management 30k increment for a player who barely played last season looked unwise. and also, maybe they did offer Coley the same contract as per Benayoun i.e. 80k for 4 years, just that Coley turned that down.

80k for a squad player is just about correct IMO. and we do need the replacements in midfield seeing that all 4 who left are midfielders.

as for squad numbers, i'd think Benayoun would not get the 7 maybe some other bigger numbers.

keep an eye out for Thurs, fixture list announcement!

You are right! RM45 per pair, but does not include shipping. chcher's is RM49 per pair and free shipping (registered) for 2 pairs or more, albeit until 30th June 2010.

Up to you guys la, just links/sources for you to choose. Good luck!

I don't mind both of them at all too, but doubts exist as to whether they fit into the EPL or not. Especially both are in the play-maker role, both have similar physique, etc.

Hopefully one of them would don the no 7 mantle, we need a good no 7 already. Maybe Ozil 10 and Silva 7 (since Kalou already has the 21).

Overkill? Nah. Better to snap both up to avoid falling into our opponent's hands! haha

But we do need subs though just in case one of them gets injured. Then we can have like for like.

Benayoun would be a good sub for any one of them as well though, so maybe you are right in getting any one of them, with Benayoun as sub then.

Ai yo let it go la. Most Chelsea fans will know JT gives all in every game he plays, be it for England and Chelsea, and we should be grateful for that fact. As long as he is a Chelsea player, and it's Capt, that's good enough for me.

hi all

i will be travel to london next week for business trip ..  thinking to drop by stamford bridge and emirates stadium since both located in london .. anyone been to stamford bridge before .. any tips for me .. ie what time to go what to do what to buy there ...
*
Take the District Line, and get off at the Fulham Broadway stop. Once there, get out of the building proper and make a left. Keep walking on and you will reach the stadium on your left. You can't miss it la!

The Megastore is basically open every day of the week, so no worries there. Try to make it early though, as I think they close at 5pm/6pm IINM. If you want to go for the Stadium Tour, don't go on matchdays as it will be closed.

As for kits, try to go for the special ones, i.e. commemorative, etc etc. Go for normal replicas only if they are on sale, otherwise it's cheaper elsewhere. As for printing, Megastore uses PU (sticker) and it's smaller in size as compared to non-PU (which can be done locally anyway).

Enjoy, and do take a lot of pics! Esp with the 2 trophies! rclxms.gif

MyChelsea should be moving to e-Curve (or is it still Cineleisure). Modesto's new branch will be opening there soon.
