Ah ha. Looks like a quite good price. biggrin.gif
Does it by default comes with a hood? unsure.gif
*
Yup, it comes with a hood. Unlike cheap Canon, only give hoods for their L lenses laugh.gif

correct.

logic is simple, more you zoom mean the greater magnification of your movement.

stabilization is to reduce the impact of the magnification.

you can try Canon 18-55 IS and 55-250 IS and immediately you'll see the impact across the focal length.

Distance scale? I thought you using 7D? how to look at distance scale on an EF lens anyway wor...all wrong...

On side note, since EF-S lenses are for APS-C only, does the distance scale actually work correctly?

So how is the focus after micro adjustment?
*
The distance scale and infinity point is accurate on APS-C, APS-H and 35mm full frame. The crop factor does not change the subject's distance from your camera's focal plane. Only the perceived focal length changes because the side of the images are not being sensed.

Err, i think that 18-135 suit lotsa shootings. The angle is quite wide too, the zoom also not bad. And i think the kitlens is enough for you to take those scale.
what else comes with packages?

body with cap
kit lens with cap but no hood
E8 battery
neck strap
usb cable
CD, manuals

additional one from shop should should be
memory card
sling beg
cheap and unstable tripod
screen protector?
uv filter?
lens pen?

50mm f1.8 lens around 299-350.
you can check out more info at mylensdb.com

for such thing you gotta ASK at your own, and try to ask for more freebies since 3600 street price is just okay. Ask them in DETAIL that what does they give you as freebies. remember always ask for more(cheapskate indeed cool2.gif)

for warranty ah? should be official one, you can register online for the 2 more years extra warranty.

If ure not sure of what is given in the package the shop offer u, How on earth are we to judge if its a good deal or not?.. Think u sud be a lil' more serious if ure gonna buy such expensive camera.

Usually shops will bundle with 4GB SD card. normal speed.

Canon Malaysia offering 2+1 years warranty now.
