But the good thing about having the 18-135 kit is that you won't need to change lens everytime you want something longer then 55mm Convenience vs Range la, see what you prefer. |

Yup, both serves different purposes. Convenience VS Quality For me I use zooms when covering paid events and primes when I'm taking pictures during my own leisure time. Can't beat zooms for convenience and cant beat primes for quality. |

Don't bother with the 18-55 IS's hood. It's so shallow, its useless. I use to have one last time, so I know. |
