no, its like u see a 'light' in the middle while ur wide area is dark... like thos UFO beeming u up light... lol

already tried it, gnna post the pic later. i see, so that's the flash zoom at 200mm and lens 18mm, like vignette effect lol.

yup yup~~ like vigneting,... so now u know how the 200mm zoom flash will show up in the picture of wide angle, that is how the flash will travel also when u set the flash zoom to auto, it will follow the length/shape of ur zoom lens. if u zoom to 200mm to shoot, the flash will zoom too so it wont waste its flash power to lit the corner, but focus in the middle

ya which is why i have used off the shoe to achieve a more even exposure

oh mine's triggered wirelessly. Maybe is car problem so can't get same result.

tried to utilise window light but but not bright enough.

taken quite a while ago, didn't quite remember the setting

since we're at it, if you guys have to recommend sticking with one light modifier, which one would it be? The softbox? Or a shoot-thru umbrella? Or a 5-in-1 reflector and use the translucent panel as a softbox/shoot-thru material?

Also, is there any place that gives out free gel samplers?
