The channel will be gone soon. HD channel takes time to reflect to our current subscribtion..don't know why. I faced the same problem when I subscribe to the sports package. I can watch all the SD sports channel within 1 hour after i call astro CS..but the HD channel can only be watch tommorow morning..

then the satelite receiver still use decorder and smart card rite...dun 4get, byond oni can play the right card that oni in ur house...if put the card elsewhere, its not function..then, with this item, people need to make new account just for car decoder itself...correct me if im wrong..

Also, the HD version is out next year. Probably more costly than that one.

On the whole its not worth, dont forget we may hv to pay for assto mobile !! Hope the guys can come up with something which picks signals beside assto, but for assto nothing is so great that we need to pay so much to carry it around

Just wanna ask, is that anyone here have tried to connect Byond to LCD TV using Monster component cable? because I wanna cancel HD services, so, I will connect my Byond using Component cable to my LCD.... since HDMI will be disable when canceling the HD service...

I had done it before, but beleive me nothing so great to say, if u havent bought one then dont waste your money, to me I saw nothing great compared to a normal cable of less then RM100,cos what is fed in does matter, if what goes in is not quality then we dont see anything to say Monster cable was better but on your DVD player u can see the difference !

my friend subscribe sports channel during world cup. recorded many matches. after world cup he unsubscribe sports. Recorded stuffs can't be viewed now if you unsubscribe!!!!! WTF

PVR "captured" RAW Pure digital stream that is still not encrypted by the smart card in the decoder...

It's different from MAX which is, MAX "captured" the already encrypted data stream by smart card.., that's why, on MAX, you can watch the recorded content, even you did not subscribe to the channel that you already recorded...

how is it illegal to view something that you've recorded from a service you've paid for?

you can view it as long as you are paying for the service... the license does not extend beyond your service duration.

if you buy a DVD or CD, you can make copies and view the copies. But after you sell the CD or DVD - surely it's not legal for you to keep the copy for watching or listening?
