U means astro can broadcast IPTV via satelite? hmm.gif
Satelite stuck with limited bandwidth compare with fiber.

BTW, I think our government only award IPTV license to TM. Kroni sweat.gif

Any Astro byond techs here? I am currently(since this morning) unable to view Channels 101,102,103, 107,119 & 708.  mad.gif Error message says the I have not subscribe to this channels!! rclxub.gif  Since when have to pay for 'free to air' channels.  I have no problems viewing other channels inc HD channels.
Have contact Astro but CS is unable to help and have forwarded my problem to Astro Byond techs but so far no news.
Anyone else facing this problem?

Fox International Channels is going all out in promoting their HD channels. Saw the ad just now on Star World. Star World HD, Fox HD, FX HD, Star Movies HD, etc. Astro should have taken Star World HD instead of FX HD for their variety package.

you can view it as long as you are paying for the service... the license does not extend beyond your service duration.

if you buy a DVD or CD, you can make copies and view the copies. But after you sell the CD or DVD - surely it's not legal for you to keep the copy for watching or listening?

I recorded the world cup final. I paid for sports package and recording service. one month later I stopped subscribing to sports package. I think should have the right to least watch the final again whenever I feel like it at whatever time.

It shld be exactly like buying a dvd, if you buy a dvd , you can keep and watch it anytime you wish. I'd be interested Astro's view. This is my view anyway, and as another poster mentioned - wrong forum to rant abt this smile.gif

OK here's a question. I changed to astro byond last month. Previously my astro bill is Rm116, after changing, it went up to Rm150. I thought astro beyond just add for rm20 for every month? I didn't subscribe other package
