Perhaps someone at Astro Marketing could have sold this to GSC/TGV as soon as they knew they would be working on a 3D broadcast and way before the public announcement. Sony made the announcement last year that they would be capturing this in 3D... they would have sorted out the public viewings a long time ago.
Such a waste, because the number of people who will be able to watch this would be miniscule. Even you guys would advise against rushing out to buy a 3D TV just for this, and make that decision within 2 days. So it's just the few guys who already have a 3d TV...

Astro should show 3D World Cup in GSC or TGV cinemas...
