What is the typical upload speed for 4MB package? I seem to get a constant 400kbps, is that normal?

Want to subscribe Unipack 4mb. Look so nice if can have 4mb for RM 88.

What do you think of my line?

ur line confirm kenot get stable line for 4mbps..
u now got 2mbps which is 1mbps capped right only got SNR 15db
if increase to 4mbps sure get lower than 10db or maybe even worst 5db.. for sure you wont get stable connection..

Just got my 4Mbps Unipack today after complaining for 1 month+ on upgrading... but now download speed still capped at 3.6Mbps. seem to be always getting 175.145.xxx.xxx ip. so far so good. from my germany or US server also can download full speed 460KBps using IDM.

Good afternoon guys, need some advice here, I have applied TMnet 4MB Blockbuster upgrade from 1MB and the installer came over yesterday, he has activate my 4MB package but till now I still receive 1MB.

I just give him a call to complaint and he mentioned to me he will follow up but no promise on time... (and the 4MB has already activate which meant they are charging me RM140 per month), is there anything I can do?

My installer came by last friday to activate the upgrade from 1mbps (i get 2mbps) to 4mbps.But till today still at 2mbps.i informed my installer since yesterday and he told me he will change the port for me.But until now no changes. sigh~~~~~

need to wait 2 to 3 working days to get from 1 mbps to 2mbps then towards 4mbps

Haizzz.....Want to have 4mb ... How about if take 2MB? still can support right?

OMG!! It takes that long?? All along I thought it only take the installer a phone call to make the upgrade. I just installed the 4mbps line but is still stuck at the 512kbps line.

I never pay TM installers when they come to install streamyx. I only pay when it requires rewiring etc.

Thanx..my housemates scare me off, because he said, whenever installer comes to your house we have to pay them. At least RM30.

Let's say they insist on the money, what should we do?

I called up the installer at 6pm and he said that even though he activated 4mbps in the system it seems that the Server had some system problems and now founded out what's the problem ady.He's pushing TM to solve the issue though he couldnt give a time frame.

wow~ during afternoon i can download full speed with 175.145.x.x but fakap at night!! now using 218.111.x.x and have more stable download speed =X

175 for me is something like business line
good for morning cuz they have certain bandwith for it
when it's night..those bandwith will be gone to home user too..everyone shared
so have to shift back 115,118,124,110,218 for night
this is my theory...i dn't know....

Milky, U said cannot get 4MB. Today technician came to my house ( 1.20 pm ) and now can upgrade to 4MB. I got D-Link modem

i wanna install 4mbps. currently capped at 4mbps. SNR 22.6 , Attenuation 43.5 . on ADSL2 and ADSL2+..randomly change frm time to time .

how do u think ? frequent disconnection ?

i didnt said you cant get 4mbps.. you can get.. but not stable connection only..
What is your SNR margin reading?

i think need to see if it is under g.dmt , adsl2 or adsl 2+

adsl2 giv a better reading compare to adsl2+

u will get SNR 10 , attenuation 45 under adsl2+ , but if under adsl2 u might get diff reading
