My line has been magically downgraded to 2046. This sucks

Got visited by 3 person today from FlyingSquad TM collecting issues and problems regarding the FTP Capped

No need to call. You need to know about SNR and attenuation and learn how to check them on your modem (to show them you know something) and just ask the Streamyx Installer politely for a cap increase. This was what I did

Installer came by my place and activated the upgrade to 4mbps.
He gave me a dlink dsl 2640B modem.how bout u guys?what modem did u guys get?

I got test acc username@tmnet can max out FTP n HTTP 24/7 with 219. Fix IP

last time 2006 i get it

Previously before the installer came by my place to activate the 4mbps upgrade,i always get 115.x.x.x IP. But somehow i noticed now that i'm getting 218.x.x.x and 219.x.x.x

After my case bring to up they are fixing it the issues

I have switch frm streamx rm90 combo to unipack 4mb. According to the technician, i will get full speed after 24 hours. however after 24 hours i'm only getting 50kb/s download speed. i called tm and they juz ask me to refer to my technician. zzz

STILL UNDER TM

is it normal for 4Mb line to hv youtube 720p vids capped at ~2.3Mbps?

My youtube can go up to 4 Mbps no problemo

why my youtube so slow? 1.5MB got 800kb? hell TM!

For those that requested to get capped at 5120, what actually did you say to them? I want to request too but need a point of argument

you complain to them that your speed is slow.. after they restarted your port or did anything then capping just tell them is still the same..
& then you can recommend them to cap higher.. but you need to check on your SNR Margin..

my SNR is 31 so no problem there. will call them latter

ur SNR is 31 is for 4mbps.. when capped higher ur SNR margin will drop..

my SNR only 10 when in 1.5mbps . probably unable to apply for 4mbps
