A guy buy an Alienware M17x-R1, which have some issue of the touch pad, keyboard delay, graphic card driver, and also wireless, where he dont know how to solve, then blame the alienware M17x, and talk alot of "Stuff" in other's Alienware thread.

1 - those problem might due to buying ready unit of Alienware. ready unit of Alienware shouldn't be brought UNLESS you really trusted the seller that he/she never done anything unusual to the laptop.

2 - its not a problem in the first place, actually. it just simple cleanup and reinstall the drivers, something like that.

meh, let bygone be bygone smile.gif

word of advice bro...just buy it
I don think the i5 and i7 have huge different
the most is only 1 or 2 fps only
and some game no gain at all... biggrin.gif

@for everyone who wan to buy M11x
what i've learn in PC gaming is you tweak the pc to play the game..if cannot play at native resolution lower bit the resolution to gain extra frame rate
lower down the texture will also help too...you don't have to play all game on ultra setting..
if u want to play all games in ultra setting then M11x will not be for you..go buy a desktop ,i'm sure u can buy i7 with GF480 with that kind of money or even better a console. It just a word of advice ..and money is hard to earn....so no harm done ok thumbup.gif

Mine comes with I5 520UM and 4GB RAM. Others should be stock.
First time carry, quite heavy.

+1, even game are more depends on GPU, but if the proccessor is away too low, it might become bottle neck for the performance, might pull down the FPS.
