Brand:
TorqNm

Model:
e3
Fuel Conserving Synthetic Motor Oil

Viscosity:
10w-30

Vehicle:
2011 Proton Saga FLX

Feedback:
- OCI at every 7,000 km
- Engine only starts to feel sluggish a bit when surpassing 6,500km.
- Fuel saving (previously using Castrol magnatec = 11.2km/L, now 12.4km/L)
- good pick up and engine doesn't sound harsh/strained
- fast warm up (less than 1 min to warm up to 2 bars)

Last time i use its feel just ok to me.

Bro quazacolt, when reach the time u drain the TR5 can u check for me whether your oil color is black/brown or black/red? When i drain mine is black/red color. So far i never see black/red color..usually black/brown. It just for comparison.

Btw LM 10w30 hard to find in jb. Mostly it out of stock.

engine oil in turbocharged engines evaporate faster as turbo needs engine oil to lubricate all the parts and spin the turbine blade. true?

as salam,

that's why you need an engine oil that design for that purpose e.g turbo, supercharge...

there are specific engine oil for turbo/supercharge engine.....e.g Castrol CR8, Petro Canada Duron E,XL,E-XL, Pennzoil Long Life and others that are specific for that...

look also for higher FLASH POINT and higher Viscosity Index....

correct me if i'm wrong...

Correct. Superchargers do not face the same issue as turbo, it has it's own oil and does not recirculate the heat from exhaust back to the engine.

Force induction engine is very nice to drive. Lots of torque n power. But must be discipline when comes to oil change.fresh oil is critical upmost important.
If not sludge issue..big problem

There are people running without air filter. just put a wire mesh on the turbo.

That would work only if your engine does not have a MAF sensor.
