Nope shakehead.gif Desire's one it's a bit different compared to a normal stereo headphone jack. I've tested with my headphone and the sound does not come out. Only with an adapter u can hear the sound.

no its kinda true..US sell htc incredible as a replacement of htc desire because htc desire not available in US

why not?games mayb would need more than 2 fingers...

They are totally different in terms of physical look and specs! Incredible looks more ugly (to me) but has a higher spec than Desire..... To a layman like me, it's considered as a totally diff modal liao...
Since US dun hv Desire, so HTC gives US a better spec fon call Incredible?! thats very bias of HTC vmad.gif !!! US adi got evo liao... sob....

erm.. if tap tap revenge suppose tobe challenging for 2 fingers oni... if allow so many fingers, isnt that considered cheating?

Thanks man! thumbup.gif Will be looking forward this weekend.
I noticed that the difference between a normal 3.5mm headphone jack with HTC Desire's jack is that the normal one has a triple-conductor while HTC's is a quad-conductor jack. We can see at the provided HTC earphone there is 4 segments (dunno what it's called) just like Iphone's instead of 3 segments. Anyway will buy an adapter in case I can't find the right headphone for me smile.gif

I think you did not push in the headphone plug into the jack fully. I tested it with many types of standard headphones and it works perfectly.

i think those extra segments is to cater for the remote function. the htc default headphone has a remote built in.

hmm.gif .. i am not an expert but i notice that mp3 players' headset have only 3 segments while some phones have 4 segments ... maybe the extra segment is for microphone(voice input)? while other three are for output ...

Yes that's right.

3 or 4 segments, it doesn't matter.
They're backwards compatible.

Any 3.5mm jack ear/headphones should work on one another.

i think Neomax3 have a headphone that have a large cover to the 3.5mm jack. just like iphone, they supplied an extra adapter when u buy casing such as rebel from swtich easy.
