QUOTE(Pennywise @ May 28 2010, 05:13 PM) Few questions. 1. those 9 boxes, 9 favorites suppose to have all the contacts details 1. Among my favorites contacts, those 9 boxes, one has a contact card within it. Why? 2. My mail home screen is configured to my hotmail, how to manually sync each time i am on that home screen? 3. What are your 7 home screens? 4. Contacts can be categorized into Gmail (after you set it up), Sim and phone. How do i categorize all my imported contacts as 'Phone' contacts? 2. press the left button with the lines, once in the app, there's a refresh button(quite small). That is how you refresh manually 3. Everyone has different home screens.. all with apps and widgets.. 4. forgot how you do it already.. you go into settings and choose phone.. something like that QUOTE(hiroka88 @ May 28 2010, 05:35 PM) ya.. alot of girl keep asking me htc is what?? they say China phone they didn't say wrong wert... lolhtc keep promote hd2.. i never see android commercial at MY taiwan is in china therefore china phone.. go to http://nimbu.amorvi.com/2010/05/add-youtub...phone/#more-293 and check out nimbu.amorvi.com All the stuff that N1 has like 3D gallery, voice to text, etc???? Your desire can too! this site even shows you how to root your phone. (NOTE: Rooted phone will void your warranty) |

QUOTE(Pennywise @ May 29 2010, 08:07 PM) Can share the link to the pouch on ebay? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...e=STRK:MEWNX:ITYes 3gb is too much. 1.5gb is just nice but difference is RM10. To many this dont matter. To save batt, go to Home Screen and add a widget call Power Control. Turn off everything when not in used. I got this, it's really genuine because the leather quality doesn't look "fake" so far so good.. QUOTE(awiekupo @ May 29 2010, 09:06 PM) yes , in the manual it says 3-4 hours but like hihihehe says 8 hours better because this is a new phone..I just let it charge for 8 hours for the 1st time.. just in case This post has been edited by z3r0717: May 29 2010, 09:19 PM |

QUOTE(jimmy.soo @ May 31 2010, 10:05 PM) u guys noticed or not? i couldnt seems to find this settings:- lol.... there's no setting for it..How do I increase my accuracy on the keyboard? You can increase your accuracy on the keyboard by calibrating the keyboard to be more suited to your tapping habits. Tap MENU on the Home screen > Settings > Language & keyboard > Touch input > Text input > Calibration tool. Tap the given phrase and after you have completed the calibration, the keyboard should be more attuned to your touch screen habits. HOW ar???? Actually it's already set... For eg.. when you want to type "tru" u press tru then it pops out a few choices... Tru, Try, Tri, Tau It selects Try automatically, assuming you want to type try so if you press space bar it auto selects that.. IF you wanted Tru, just select tru then the keyboard saves the word so it "saves your typing habit"... Next time you type tru, it'll select the tru 1st rather than try You can check the words you added in the User Dictionary.. Understand? That's how the keyboard works... EDIT: Calibration is just to calibrate your screen for a better touch experience, It's written there Added on May 31, 2010, 11:40 pm QUOTE(busbos @ May 31 2010, 11:38 PM) yes actually i was looking for this also since i watched a video that shows desire can hv a few type of keyboard like qwerty..the usual phone keypad and the other one i forgot You are talking about Keyboard typesQwerty Phone Keypad Compact QWERTY That's all This post has been edited by z3r0717: May 31 2010, 11:47 PM |

QUOTE(linkz @ Jun 1 2010, 11:26 AM) actually i find that the thai portrait keyboard seems to have a bit fatter button and easier to type english as compared to the chinese keyboard... too bad no banana keyboard.. haha The keyboard in landscape mode is definitely better because the keys get bigger like you said...Added on June 1, 2010, 11:27 ambtw... isn't the keyboard when in portrai mode is consider "COMPACTED"?? so this not call compact keyboard call wut? The compact Qwerty is for Potrait mode only and it is not available in Asean mobiles it seems according to the previous post as mine is UK model so i have the compact qwerty.. You have is the normal QWERTY and i have both. The compact Qwerty is really compact, each button has 2 alphabets.. like QW in a button and ER in a button and so on QUOTE(silverND @ Jun 1 2010, 11:47 AM) hmmm...it seems that i can't send SMS to multiple recipients...and quite leceh a bit... Yes you can, just add another recipient... the default sms app also can do it..any apps that can help on this on desire? QUOTE(linkz @ Jun 1 2010, 11:48 AM) Paid apps have more functions/features than the free that is why people want to buy apps lo....same thing like iPhone, free game only few levels, paid games have full version... |

QUOTE(linkz @ Jun 1 2010, 03:34 PM) Zagg invinsible shield is fingerprint proof o not? tried google for it and found a droid forum condemning it oni.... so is it gud or not gud a? Read a few feedbacks from zagg invisible shield from the Aussies.http://www.incredibleforum.com/forum/htc-i...le-shields.html According to them, the front screen protection may cause obvious pixels just like my Boxwave's anti-glare screen protector... You can see the pixels very obvious and it doesn't make the screen look very Clear anymore but the touchscreen sensitivity is still ok... Just to let you guys know |
