to copy contacts from a nokia phone running on symbian is rather simple.
1. mark all your contacts in your nokia phone, press option->copy->to memory card 2. copy all the .vcf files from sdcard:\others\contacts to a new folder in the root of your desire sd card 3. in your desire, go to people and press menu->import/export->import from sd card->import all |

use 3G APN. it will automatically downgrade to EDGE if it can't find any 3G coverage.

classes for sd card merely tell you the MINIMUM speed. some people who have class 2 sandisk branded sd card can achieve read/write speed of up to 10mb/s.

guys, no need to compare which phone is better la. all phones has pros and cons, just choose the one that has features that suits your lifestyle and usage.
some prefer manual cars so they can control which gear they want to use, others prefer auto so they can just step on the pedal and move. |

the battery life is quite disappointing, but i did a few things to prolong it. yeah, i know it cripples the phone significantly, but i am more concerned about not being able to make a phone call during emergency because of flat battery.
here's what i did:- -switch to gsm only (my place doesn't have constant 3G connection) -switch off mobile network when i don't use data (can switch it on fast via widget or press and hold power button) -static wallpaper -low screen brightness (non automatic) -disable background data |
