you already have a data plan contract with telco? If not why not sign up for the plan and get the discounted price which is cheaper than AP and with longer warranty. I doubt AP set can get any support if the phone have problem. If dislike Maxis package, you can wait for Digi to launch later this month. They should have a similar package if not better.

bro u have used task killer before rite? what are the after effects? do u have screen turning into blur screen (like when u hold camera to near the object) after using task killer?

the lite version is free at the android market.. but i guess what u mean is the full version.. played it previously on symbian and it was fun until i was so tired to press...


i have a problem here, maybe due to task killers or some apps are causing this.. Whenever i run some apps or open stock browser to browse.. when i press home button again, Htc Sense reloads itself.. as if it is restarting the process.. did i go wrong anywhere? im afraid that it would be a waste in resource and in long term, it would drain battery for the useless sense restarting procedure.. any ideas? im guessing its the task killers

yes. that's the cause of using task killers too much, previously i end task too much my htc sense keep reloading itself too.. after i stop using it then nvr had this problem already.. so what they said about task killers are true.. you don't really need them only when necessary..
I only use them if my app hang then need to end task it to relaunch.. that's all

what task killer are you using? ive tried advanced task killer (green logo) and TasKiller (red logo with X mark) .. yeah.. i do agree on that.. im trying to minimize the use of task killers.. perhaps the use of killing all task before putting your phone down from usage is best to ensure it sleeps at the lowest resource usage..

Yes, I want to buy the full version but I am not sure how to.

When I click on one icon in the game, it ask "WANT TO BUY FULL VERSION GAMES?"
The answer options are "SMS / ANDROID MARKET / NO"

If I click on ANDROID MARKET, it cannot find the full version of the app. So, I click on SMS and it brings me to http://wap.herocraft.com/android/games/farm_frenzy/ and it says:

To buy this game send an SMS grab geta ga196 to the number 32355. The price is MYR$10 + WAP/GPRS-fees according to the net operator tariff.

So this RM10 is a one time thing and I have the game permanently? What if I re-format my phone?

if it requires you to make an account on herocraft 1st, there is a possibility for you to redownload it.. but if ur getting it from wap/gprs purchase, i highly doubt it.. try contacting them 1st to ensure that.. surely not worthit for one time installation.. gameloft original games for android too is currently one time downloading, but they are in the process of changing that procedure and DRM protection on their games to allow redownloading

i have removed the two culprit and rebooted.. seems that my sense is no longer restarting trying aaron's task killer now.. will post up results..

the culprit that u r saying is advance task killer is it? the green one?

Not too sure if anybody experience the following issue

1. When turning off mobile network, and turning back...the system cannot turn on the EDGE/3G network. This mean cannot have data connection. So need to restart the phone and it is on back

2. The built-in internet browser cannot log-in to certain paid website like Malaysiakini or Dinodirect. Whenever I log in - it still bring me back to the log-in page.

3. Unable to find certain symbol like ©, ®, £, ¥, €, \, and some others
