Well, different places got different price so we cannot be sure about it, at least our price can be a guidance for the price estimated nod.gif...SWK price usually a bit expensive (add another RM100 more usually) than LYP price tongue.gif...

Added on June 16, 2010, 12:31 pmi remember JackLiu posted before that CQ42-189TX is RM2199 now nod.gif

lack of competition on 13''?

I agree, even for those (DELL notebooks) with CULV processors. Been having a headache recommending friends (who like DELL alot) a 13' notebook laugh.gif
DELL Inspiron 13z
SU4100+ GMA x4500+ 3 year (in home) warranty --> RM2686
SU7300+ G105M + 3 year (in home) warranty --> RM3236

ASUS UL30Vt
SU7300+ G210M/GMA x4500 + Free 2 year warranty --> RM2999 (or cheaper)

My friends don't want the extra GC on ASUS LOL, saying that they won't be using it at all rclxub.gif
I feel DELL's pricings for these notebooks are not competitive enough, especially after the announcement of the ~RM2900 XPS 16 notworthy.gif

Eh, I've never seen an ASUS UL30A before rclxub.gif Has it been around for quite some time already?

Even the DELL Vostro V13
SU7300 + GMA x4500 + Ubuntu + 3 years warranty --> RM2776 (quite close to the range of the UL30Vt already)

Normal usage, no graphic designing or what sort.. so processor not that important right? Gaming wise SXPS 16 better?

Just need a desktop replacement so gotta opt for a 15 inch screen. Shrink from 22inch >15 rclxub.gif

How come F60 only use i3? Would've gone for it if it were i5. lol

Lenovo Y460 , Core i5 540M + ATi HD5650 @RM3599 or Y460. Core i5 430M + HD5650 @RM3299 (though this one is kinda hard to find)

Dell SXPS16, C2D P8700 + HD4670 @RM2849

Your budget is quite high, maybe you can opt for the one that i mentioned above for much better performance in games (such as PES)
