HD5650 would be slightly better, but that's for gaming/DirectX...
Quadro card has different driver which optimized for OpenGL.. FX1800M which based on Nvidia GT335M should have similar raw performance with HD5650... |

equivalent with HD4850 would be quite hard
You would need to get notebook with HD5870 to get that kind of performance... Thin profile with best gpu available would be Acer 4820TG that available on Singapore, i7-620M + ATi HD5650@SGD$1898... Though it still weaker than your desktop... This post has been edited by lee_what2004: Jun 12 2010, 11:55 PM |

If want all-rounder with average 2-3 hours batery life,
1)LENOVO B450-T4400 5)TOSHIBA SATELLITE L510-B400 If want lightweight and long battery life, 2)DELL INSPIRON 11z (T510123MY) 4)HP MINI 5102 PC 3)ASUS Eee PC 1201T Though if this is going to be your main computer, better take either lenovo B450 or Toshiba L510-B400... |

Best one would be either, you might need to lower the resolution for better performance though
15'': Dell Studio XPS 16, P8700 + ATi HD4670, FullHD@RM2999 17'': Dell Vostro 3700, i5 430M + Nvidia GT330M, HomeBasic@RM2849.... or if can up more, the Lenovo Y460 would give better performance than those two, 14'', i5 430M + ATi HD5650@RM3299... |

M11x's user with SU7300 + Nvidia GT335M say can play StarCraft II in Ultra settings, ATi HD4670 is not that far weaker, so it should play fine, just need to lower down the resolution...
