HD5650 would be slightly better, but that's for gaming/DirectX...
Quadro card has different driver which optimized for OpenGL..
FX1800M which based on Nvidia GT335M should have similar raw performance with HD5650...

I'm looking for a new laptop with budget about Rm1500.

Specs:

1G RAM /above

2.0GHZ /above

160GB hard disk /above

FreeDOS

Graphic Card 256/512 MB

Need recommendation for laptops with above specs within my budget.

Mine?? It is great for me but I mainly use it as an entertainment system rather than 3D programs specifics so can't say much. lee_what2004 does make a point as FX1800M should be around the same performance as HD5650 w/ better support for your need.

It's a better choice on CPU and weight. Bro mokh seems to prefer a strong GPU as EliteBook is using an entry professional card FX 380M.
