Well aside from the onsite, you got screen upgrade, better design and a complete cover which you can bet if they're gonna change/upgrade another model when yours broke intentionally(Oops... did I say that??

Might be really hard to find a laptop under 3kg w/ strong GPU performance equivalent(?) to your FX 4600 as the best workstation laptop GPU to date FX3800M which is available on Lenovo ThinkPad W701ds is an 17 inch w/ 4kg weight. Dell Mobile Percision M6500 which also provide the same GPU is range at least RM8k and near 4kg...

Mine?? It is great for me but I mainly use it as an entertainment system rather than 3D programs specifics so can't say much. lee_what2004 does make a point as FX1800M should be around the same performance as HD5650 w/ better support for your need.

It's a better choice on CPU and weight. Bro mokh seems to prefer a strong GPU as EliteBook is using an entry professional card FX 380M.

QUOTE(kenzakiwing @ Jun 13 2010, 10:14 PM) hi, I've tested it on my Y460 and it does draw a lot of power which means that it'll generate heat like 70+C most of the time. If you go for Vostro 3700, the temp won't be too bad but you need to set to medium on most settings in order to run the game smoothly. i want to buy a laptop that can play Dragon Agen smoothly, and i recently try my cousin dell xps 16, it got serious heat problem, so i need a laptop that don't have this problem, and my buget is around rm3000 |
