QUOTE(yapjackmy @ Jul 9 2010, 09:59 AM) MSI CX420 Core i5 , 2GB , 500GB , win7 home premium 64bit, ATI 5470 1GB DDR3 @ RM2299 at LYP , Imbi & Time Square do you know how heavy is this laptop? The website says it's 2kg but usually they weight it without the battery, so I wish to confirm with someone who touched this laptop before.http://asia.msi.com/index.php?func=proddes...80&prod_no=1991 Added on July 9, 2010, 9:09 pm QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Jul 9 2010, 12:19 PM) No need, preferably with HDMI port.Got a question though, if I want to stream Full HD through HDMI to my TV, the processor plays more role or the graphic card? I ask this because currently Dell Mini 10 / HP 311 can have HDMI port, but the movie is less than 12 fps (unacceptable to watch smoothly), but they have weak processor and graphic accelerator, so I'm not sure which is the bottleneck. If I want to stream Full HD, can Intel GMA 4500 MHD stream it smoothly over HDMI port to TV? This post has been edited by kkhong: Jul 9 2010, 09:09 PM |

http://asia.msi.com/index.php?func=proddes...80&prod_no=1991 so this is cheaper compared to the dell inspiron 14R? http://configure.ap.dell.com/dellstore/con...T510442MY&s=dhs and it performs betteR? This post has been edited by fatwei: Jul 10 2010, 09:56 AM |

i'm currently in dilemma. planning to get dell xps 16, which i think is the best choice for now. but seems that, you can get other laptops with better specs at the same price. what do you suggest? the laptop has to be able to play games and support graphic programs (photoshop, autocad, etc.)
and comparing with xps 16 duo core and core i5, which is better in what way? |

Digital mall. Computer zone if not mistaken. I can double check if you want the 100% correct shop name. Haha

Next step up is RM4K for SXPS 16... |

Because with the budget that you have, its better to go for Dell SXPS 16 because dell sxps offers 1080p which i can gt from a studio 15 display upgrade. for that price i rather gt i7 processor. i'm looking for a durable com that can last me 4 years and keep up with the tech development. for gaming and movies. Can i know what are you looking for in a laptop?? |
