The netbook itself DOEST NOT has CD/DVD rom. So... do u still expect recovery CD from HP(i'm not sure though but i don't think so)

Mine also missed for 12pm appointment and the status updated as miss appt. I can understand that because the whole morning is raining and the nice thing is. He called back at around 4pm saying that he will come at about 4.30~5.

finally after > 1 month and miss 3 appointment, the technician came to my resident today and activate the 4mb line but yet to get 4mb since tm hasn't uncap my old 1mb yet. next monday only an enjoy full 4mb...... sigh...

Well, if i am not mistaken, this thread is here to help..
Obviously i dont know the team`s number is shown on SAMS status, and i got the answer from here when i asked here in this thread few days ago...
Its kind of funny, cuz at least people like me could go to SAMS website to check the status...
What if for those who dont have internet, they are also a bunch who have to wait for TM fellows to call them right...

I called him eventually, after an hour waiting since the appointment is 2pm..But no answer from him...

gud luck..anyway, did they mention how long after they fixed ur internet the netbook will come?..

i did ask the technician but unfortunately he do not hv the detail information.

it should have a recovery partition in the netbook, usually is done for laptop instead of using CD/DVD, couldn't confirm tho, i havent receive my netbook

Estimated 2 weeks from installation, that's what TM Point and the installer told me.

From what i experienced, my line was activated on 16MAY, the technician said it`ll be updated to 4mbps in 3days time. Until now, i still suffering 1.6mbps download speed. =(

Well.. SAMS isn't meant for us End user in the first place, so all in all we shouldn't even know that site.

If its so, why SAMS website did not restricted the permission to enter the site?

well , sometime we do need to apply some common sense.. once u able to check ur status in MIPS , "service available , installation in progress " , it means that the TM staff key in ur details for registration. After that , u can call 100 after 1-2days later for contractor details .

i mean , call him .. dont wait for him to call u. make some initiative pls..

if they don't have internet , i dont think they able to surf at here

if the SAMS status stated 2pm appointment and the fella never call u the day before or at that day , obviously he juz lazy to come ... call until he pick up the phone

Wouldn't it be troublesome if both TM side and TMnet side are required to access this page with login? After all, when you call 100, TM could tell your broadband status as well.

hello, the Uni Pack only until this month?

guys, yey i found my student ID (*i tot its lost LOL), so monday i try get late shift.

anyway, so i go telekom, say i wan get unipack, and get form.

then i go to my U and get it chop.

then go back to telekom to submit the form, and go back to office is tat simple right?

coz the streamyx is under my name, and i'm gonna register under my own student ID too. how bout my home number, which is under my mum's name? and expected to have 1 week no internet?

if let's say 1 week no internet, i can use my grandma's house's streamyx account to login at my home too right?
