The netbook itself DOEST NOT has CD/DVD rom. So... do u still expect recovery CD from HP(i'm not sure though but i don't think so)

Mine also missed for 12pm appointment and the status updated as miss appt. I can understand that because the whole morning is raining and the nice thing is. He called back at around 4pm saying that he will come at about 4.30~5.

ya. he came. He called the so called ADSL service number. Means the number streamyx is to be installed. He sure have that number la...

Saturday and sunday hp not working. Call 1800886998 to check status. U can get web order number from them then u can check from the website. For the website, kindly refer page 1.

I didn't get streamyx zone ID but hypptunes ID... I heard forumers ever say that the ID is same as streamyx one right? I got no place to test out in my hometown... I guess there's streamyx zone but dunno where... hahahaha.... wait go back KL only test

attainable speed 9mbps is for adsl2 port. 2mbps and 4mbps is using adsl2+port. For mine, my attainable rate is 16mbps. But i'm using 1mbps package on it, Capped at 1.5mbps for account and port capped at 2mbps. I guess u're not hooked onto adsl2+ port so it doesn't means that u can apply 4mbps just because ur attainable rate is 9mbps.

Added on May 24, 2010, 6:16 pmBtw, netbook status updated. I'm leaving my place on 26, it will deliver on 1/6. And 1/6 is public holiday over here. Sarawak's Hari Gawai... Dunno how yet. And... I need to bug HP for the warranty thing. I must get my 2 years warranty!!

means ur streamyx is terminated on 17/5. And previously installed on 6/12/2004. But for the same number, it might be used by other ppl b4 u. So... it's possible the first data is not urs. I guess u terminate and undergoing cooling period isit??? If so, it means still no ur new installation data inside the system.

Anyone can "point" to me on google map the nearest TM Point to Wangsa Maju LRT??? I'm staying at somewhere around Tasik Danau Kota. I rmb got someone said he/she applied from TM Point setapak/titiwangsa right? Point to me both of them please. Thx

it depends on both account cap and port cap. Like my case in my hometown, my port is adsl2+ port and capped at 2mbps. Means i can use accounts up to 2mbps and can achieve 2mbps speed. But if TM changed my port to just 512kbps, even if i got 4mbps account, it will only reach 512kbps the max.
