QUOTE(shadow111 @ Aug 11 2011, 03:13 PM) try to screen caps your error.... But i guess from your previous comment, maybe you're having hardware problem either modem or sim card problem....... try place your sim card on other modem or else you can go to the center and report the problem... ( if your modem damage, you can get new modem... |

QUOTE(akem90 @ Aug 19 2011, 09:10 PM) Hmm.. Not sure about the cap/cover of the modem. But if u have other things included when u registered the line, just bring along just in case. I've had a bad experience with them before. The story goes like this: I registered for their very first broadband package years ago. RM138 per month IINM. The contract was one year. So after 1 year of usage(when the contract's time is over), I really cannot tahan and wanted to terminate the line. When I went to the centre and wanted to do it, they required everything that were given to me a year ago. But I had thrown away the box long time ago, and I only had one cable with me whereas they gave me two cables back then. Then they told me I will have to pay for the items. I was like 'WTF man!!' They even showed me a 'Price List' for the items. They said even the contract period was over, I still had to return all the items. So I had no choice but to pay because I wanted to register for this 3G plan afterwards. Ended up paying RM30 for the box and RM30 for the cable. Still a student back then so it was kind of a big deal for me. :FML: Fortunately I didn't throw the modem away(because it was spoilt back then) as it would cost me RM600 according to their price list!!! |

Yes, you can use it for MBP. I'm using it with no problems. If you use with the provided Maxis modem, you can install just the drivers and use the in-built Mac networking functions to connect.
