yeah, 3GB is not enough. upgrade to 6GB or 12GB.

just file the complain and attach the complain number to maxis customer service.

Maxis is SUCK!!!

I hav signed their package in March 2011 and returned to them after 3 days (within 7 days trial period) as there was no coverage in my area. Then I only noticed that not all Maxis store will accept the return except for Maxis Centre which located at Maxis tower, cheras or putrajaya. Nvm, i went there and returned but they said I can only get back the refund in 5 weeks time. 

After 5 weeks, what i received from Maxis was the bill to charge me RM100 activation fee (which i hav paid on the spot when signed the package), penalty RM100 for cancellation and RM 8.75 for 3 days usage. I m very angry and called to Maxis, the lady very politely said that she will help me to lodge a report and ask me to wait for another 3 weeks.

After 2 weeks, I received bill from Maxis again which has cancelled the penalty and activation fee. The balance is negative RM 91.25. So, how i can get back the refund? I called to Maxis again and ask when they really want to give me back my refund. The lady said they need time to prepare the cheque so ask me to wait for another 6 weeks. 

As a big company like Maxis, I m so surprise that their works are so "efficiency". And they also cheated me on the 3 days usage which was not written in the signing up form as they will deduct any money for the trial period which I never benefit for as there is no coverage at my place.

I will never trust Maxis anymore!!!!

Agree, both their postpaid and prepaid broadband expensive . Only thing is their prepaid cheaper abit than their postpaid

tested my sim card on my phone, it's working.. when put inside my modem, it give error..
but dunno what happen.. suddenly everything is back to normal.. dunno isit my modem siao siao (crazy) or what..

hi guys! i have a question,currently i'm subscribing the maxis broadband 6GB/RM125. i want to terminate the subscription,i need to return the usb modem. the question is,do they accept the modem without its cap? i mean the usb cover.

specially for those who are using e1762.. you should know that the latest Firmware for your modem is 11.126.10.00.00
and
Dashboard (maxis broadband software) is 16.002.10.04.99 (windows) || 16.001.30.00.99 (Mac)

to update your modem...
basically what you need to do is
download this http://www.maxis.com.my/maxisbb/download/M...firmware_R2.zip
and only install (Update_11.126.10.00.00.B418)

then download this
http://www.multiupload.com/AWPJ0OBPMA
flash (UTPS16.002.10.04.99_MAC16.001.30.00.99)

and you are all done...

for people who is not very satisfy with their signal or speed when using the E1762, u can try to flash new dashboard and firmware,.. as i did flash mine, thanks to cruxidex , and now my E1762 signal is strong and connection is much more stable consistent than before too,.  is optional, u dont have to flash,.a lot of people in this forum have flashed it and all work flawlessly,..

flash it with your own risk too

just remember to take note of your current firmware and dashboard first before u do so, in case after flash it dont work that well as u though, u can flash it back. with the note u take down u can look for your old firmware to do so,..

I just subscribed to Maxis wireless BB at 12:30 pm. When i arrived home at 2:30 pm i tried to installed it and all worked fine. The status says connected but i cant browse any site at all. I called the customer service she said they need 2-24 hours to activate it. But the lady at the counter when i paid RM 100 said i can use it straight away.
