opps.....looks more like edge...

maybe try to check with the modem location and also check with maxis the usage limit? cuz modem statistic is not that accurate.

Wanna ask. If reach quota speed will be capped to what speed? Any extra charges for extra usage or just cap speed but free extra usage like DiGi?

maxis after FUP speed is 128kbps ( best effort only as in T&C ) ,..

So no longer pay-as-you-use? DiGi after FUP speed is getting suckier. Changing to Maxis soon.

Guys, anyone experience this with their maxis prepaid broadband, im using it with my ipad and my subscription for 30 days ended today, the web portal pops up asking me to topup before can use further, the thing is, the number displayed is not my sim card number and the previously bought subscription history is all not mine. What should i do now? Top up to my simcard number or topup to the number displayed?

ive been using this for 2 months now.. quota is 3gb.. speed was amazing before my quota have been fulfilled.. that is after 10 days of just surfing!! i don't know how maxis count this.. but no downloading and about less than 5 mins of youtube (bout 5-8 low quality short videos)..

the first month i tot maybe i set to auto windows update so the quota have finished.. but the second month i set to manual windows update and manual AV update still finish in about 10 days.. i mean what the f**k is wrong with maxis?.. just surfing and 3gb is lost?.. this is the second time i got this shiity service from maxis.. and i am mad because after the quota finished.. i can't hardly browse LYN!! i mean its not that my area is uncovered.. before the quota i get 2Mbps++ on speedtest..

and the most F**KABLE part is for the rest of the month.. i need to face My Launch Pad site that ask me to topup my data quota each time i want to connect to the internet.. and for this.. F**K maxis!! i will terminate it this month!!

i need to use my maxis MF190 with a 3G Wifi router.

i tried it with Aztech HW550G and also TP-Link MR3220, but it cant work.

any advice or any other 3G Wifi modem that CERTAINLY can work with MAXIS MF190?

when u try your zte mf 190 with tp link,.

do u turn off the disc autorun function before you plug in ?

have u flash your router with lastest firmware first ?

have u flash your zte mf190 with latest firmware too ?

yeah, i faced this before when I subscribed to prepaid broadband before. dunno how on earth they could accidentally show a wrong number. plus, there was once a time when my quota suddenly finished off but i only used it for a day or two. i think they also wrongly 'registered' the number that time, and another person used mine. that's why the quota ran out very fast

specially for those who are using e1762.. you should know that the latest Firmware for your modem is 11.126.10.00.00
and
Dashboard (maxis broadband software) is 16.002.10.04.99 (windows) || 16.001.30.00.99 (Mac)

to update your modem...
basically what you need to do is
download this http://www.maxis.com.my/maxisbb/download/M...firmware_R2.zip
and only install (Update_11.126.10.00.00.B418)

then download this
http://www.multiupload.com/AWPJ0OBPMA
flash (UTPS16.002.10.04.99_MAC16.001.30.00.99)

and you are all done...
