It keeps on returning me to this website, called 1800 82 200 they me call 1300 820 120, both also not helping.

Wow, I am using E219, is it good enough?

It is very old modem, year 2009,  but it only has HSDPA, not HSPA, so far speedtest only around 3mbps. Later I try on my Huawei U8800 phone, it has HSPA.

Bro, need to ask you, top up 7 DAYS  2.0GB RM25 or 30 DAYS 3.5GB RM70, more value for money?

I think RM90 for 6GB is the better value for money

Damm maxis... I try to buy the prepaid broadband, spend half day to seach around jb and nobody actually sell it. Went to maxis priorty dealer, they say don;t have. Went to maxis centre at molek, don't have also, went to other maxis dealer, all say don't have. 

Seem like maxis only interested with subscribe user.

Ok guys, I am having problem in the morning, 5.30am, 6 am, 7am totally cannot connect at all. Signal on my phone  keeps showing G, UMTS, HSDPA and HSPA.

May i know what your broadband plan?

weird coz my current modem can reach up maximum to 4mbps only although
the modem can support up to 7.2mbps....

if you are light user, just go to power broadband plan...
mmm....but the HSDPA speed can max up to 14.4mbps right?

and about the HSPA+ can max up to 21mbps( I think can't reach that speed
coz currently maxis cap at 7.2mbps only).

I think maxis actually put the cap on HSDPA speed to 4-5mb only...

for Huawei E172 maybe up to HSUDPA = 7.2mbps or HSDPA = 3.6mbps,
but for Huawei UMG1831 is up to HSPA+ = 28.8mbps, and can get 7.2mbps since Maxis only offers up to that speed.

I reloaded RM10 today into my Maxis Prepaid Broadband, and subscribed to Daily package. RM8 was deducted, I got a confirmation SMS, but couldn't surf anywhere as all pages are redirected to their silly portal page.

When I call Maxis CS, they say they have no record of me reloading RM10 today, never mind the daily subscription. What kind of stupid system do they have in place? I had a hard time convincing the CS I have the SMS from them confirming my subscription!! The CS is unable to guarantee if I will get my RM8 back if I'm unable to surf until the expiration of the day pass.

no, no no no no.... just unplug the silly maxis, oops.. it shold be "mylaunchpad wireless internet sevice", chose a real broadband provider and you are done.

I use to have maxis broadband, initially, the god forsaken silly portal only comes up when I first log in, slowly it will choose what site I can or cannot see, countless anguish night I try to convince the portal to let me see (you see, when the silly portal don't want you to see a certain website, it will show up instead of the website that you are trying to surf), sometimes with success and sometime not

slowly, each and every time a open my browser, the silly portal will show up first

and one day I thought enough is enough, I unplug the maxis, throw the usb stick into the dust bin, uninstall the maxis broadband program, reset my browser plug in another broadband provider, surprise, surprise, the god d*mn silly maxis portal still shows up, I coudn't believe my eyes, I make a second attempts to delete all temp, prefetched, cache and hard reset my browser, restart windows and the d*mn silly portal still shows up.

ok, when did I authorise maxis to modify my computer Host file and mess it up in such a manner?

at the end I have to reformat my hard drive just to get rid of the portal

I believe many of you are sick and tired of the portal but still stay and endure the portal, come on girls and guys, time to free yourself.
