I'm not sure about the 3GB, you may be referring to the plan for iPhone 3G or broadband, but mine as told by Maxis is the Enhanced Data Plan just for iPad. It straightaway comes with a micro-sim (don't need any cutting). RM 99 / month for unlimited data.

with maxis they told me you can apply for multi sim...........that multi sim got to be data package on it....meaning u got to choose whatever package they offer to u(which i find not very attractive n no unlimited usage), (Dun confuse with broadband package - broadband package is standalone package and need to subscribe a new number)........ with the secondary sim u can't make phone call without a special number entered on the primary sim.

So basically it can be done with Maxis, i.e. get another sim for same number but use for data only (maybe subscribe at additional $ as what happened in Singapore with Singtel and Starhub). Why Celcom cannot do the same? This is what I'm asking for, since I already have my Unlimited 3G with them. If this is the case, might as well use my Maxis line (prepaid with free data taken with Iphone 3Gs) for use with my ipad, just need to cut it into microsim. If this does not work, what the heck, will get Digi or port either my Celcom or Maxis number to Digi. Why these telcos make my life so difficult..........

Er.. U been lying really low huh?! No the iPad is not available here in MY but it's officially available in SG (though stocks are probably low or being replenished as we speak)

I've tried with maxis multi sim on a dlink pocket router. The router keeps on saying it's an invalid sim. So I've gave up and took another number instead.
