Malaysia's 1st iPad 3G vid unboxing! biggrin.gif Do rate it and comment biggrin.gif

iPad 3G 32GB unboxing

First Malaysian iPad unboxing? ROFLMAO! I hope you post that with a tongue.gif because otherwise it's pretty much oxymoronic. Because Malaysia still has yet to see its iPad official launch, and if you're seriously thinking that this is the first unboxing video in Malaysia with regard to the iPad,"illusion of grandeur" comes to mind. biggrin.gif

Nice accent there though, you tried hard to get the American accent down pat.

P/S: If you feel this is harsh, well, you probably shouldn't be claiming "Malaysia's 1st iPad 3G unboxing" and not back it up. wink.gif

@kae_ae,
Now that's pretty damn impressive! I won't even be able to draw like that with a physical pen and paper.

@dinraxxx,
Congrats but ur definitely not the first around here to have obtained the iPad - look at the iPad "owner" list; pretty impressive considering the product ain't even officially available here in MY smile.gif

Note: My first posting via iPad. Thus far, i think it's still easier to type with an actual keyboard but it's definitely better than the iPhone smile.gif

You need to prop it up at an angle to type it nicely. Remember the Joule I showed you? brows.gif

@stringfellowLYN,
I was seriously eyeing on the Kadoosh but ksc_3688 wants it too and he tells me I'm queuing behind him so I guess no luck there. As to the Joule.. hmm.. Yeah that's pretty good but price wise, I'll rather be spending it on a MiFi instead *grins*

@friends,
Eh.. U should have received yours by now too *smiles* I haven't had much time to play with mine cause ever since I got it on Sun, damn internet at home been down; and tonight.. I just got home and need to go to bed oredi ;(

@MattJ, if you said you have BIS, that's only for your BlackBerry. You paid RM30 for that every month. So, your commitment is RM118 or RM148? I'm using BB too. But currently what I did, I have a prepaid - cut the SIM DIY and tried the weekly Broadband RM20 per week. So far everything runs well. Since Celcom don't have any MicroSIM or a specific package for iPad, I'll try to get a Broadband for my iPad. It's working now, it should work after I convert it to Postpaid Broadband - it's RM98 only FUP 5GB thumbup.gif

Tink,

So basically it can be done with Maxis, i.e. get another sim for same number but use for data only (maybe subscribe at additional $ as what happened in Singapore with Singtel and Starhub). Why Celcom cannot do the same? This is what I'm asking for, since I already have my Unlimited 3G with them. If this is the case, might as well use my Maxis line (prepaid with free data taken with Iphone 3Gs) for use with my ipad, just need to cut it into microsim. If this does not work, what the heck, will get Digi or port either my Celcom or Maxis number to Digi. Why these telcos make my life so difficult.......... rclxub.gif

string, i successfully done it using hotspotshield, but somehow amazon says it detected phishing and changed my password...is that normal ?...

Update on Kindle for iOS4. I've just purchased all three of Stieg Larsson's books, and without even the need to use Hotspotshield or VPN service. All you need to do is do it as per according the steps I've explained here. What you're basically doing is buying yourself Amazon Gift Cards, emailing them to yourself and applying it to the Amazon account tied to your Kindle for iPhone/iOS4 app.

As for Amazon detecing phishing and changing your password, are you logging into TWO of your Amazon accounts at the same time? If Amazon detects suspicious activities with multiple entries into your Amazon account, they will flag the activity as phishing and either initiate security questions, or changing password and asking you to retrieve them via the email account tied to that account. Remember, only access your Amazon account one at a time.

PM me if there's anything else you need, I'll be enjoying Stieg's work after I get some sleep later.

I read that for the Celcom and Maxis PREPAID broadband, you need to SMS BROADBAND YES to activate the broadband, but digi doesn't right?

I'm on the Digi prepaid and it's working out fine for my iPad 3G
