bros who use handbrake, can help me out with this:

i got this one particular movie file at 1024 x 768 res, got prob copying to either ipad or ipod. i tot it because the video encoding is h264. i try convert to mp4 video encoding in handbrake, stil kenot lah. why lidat?

p.s. i normally use dvdvideosoft, 1st time use handbrake.

I used to use dvdvideosoft for mp4 encoding. Its ok for ipod but with ipad i use handbrake now, faster. I find my movie DLs which mostly at less than 600px, if u retain ori size and at close to max vid qty still looks good on ipad, size about 1g. But ive seen apple tv formatted hd vids on pc damn sharp and file size closer to half gig. But cant copy to both my ipad n ipod for some reason.

Being a designer mac always had appeal to but never found product that suited me. Most software i use is native/industry std to pc n i could never justify buying a laptop coz underpowered to do actual work thats cad/3d related. Had experience ipod classic but not that big a mp3 user myself. So when ipod touch came out i was pretty stoked: got internet n cheap/disposeable enough n portable as media device. I was actually waiting on iphone at the time but jumped the gun anyway n was pretty happy. Got lots of use to watch movies n show off pics.

I waited around to wait for iphone to get a decent cam n then ipad showed up n i thought great! Even better to show off folio and get connected on the go. Totally bypassed need for laptop n introduced me to app store (had managed to do without it fine for quite awhile). One of these days i'll upgrade my ipod to iphone so i can upload pic on the go. I like photography a bit too n i could never justify buying a expensive phone with such a substandard camera. Ive tested the 3gs camera n its decent but gonna wait for iphone 4 to pop up n see if the cam really worth it.

So in summary, while not a mac nut, their range of touch devices have open up new practical uses for me (as opposed to buying stuff because of hype )

maxis just launched its mifi package, anybody got it/feedback?

1st, transfer all apps purchased on ipad to ur itunes by syncing apps.

then transfer apps from itunes to new ipad by syncing new ipad

before give/sell to friend do a full restore to old ipad.

Anybody else using pogo sketch? My experience not good as reviews lah. Maybe i got a lemon? Or my expectation too much.

Hey dude that looks a lot smoother than mine, im using sketchpad, i think mine is a dud lah. The tip is like kecut like that, the tip smaller than the shaft. Maybe i take a picture. I actually dont mind paying replacement if its really a case of my unit being a lemon. Maybe can try your unit or something? Let me know if still got extra to sell.

i'm using sketchbook (recommended by fellow fanartist) while terapox showed me his artstudio. some pros use brushes. theres also ideas by adobe which is free. sketchbook is currently 50% off tho, which should be abt 4 usd.
