At the left side of the monitor looks more cold in color...while when going to the right it getting warmer

He is seeing different hue of colors which may not be captured well by camera. But sometimes, these aspects are very subjective as people perceive color in different ways.

i remember this problem being mentioned by a reviewer in a youtube video review of U2311H. maybe a common problem for this model?

btw, i want a u2311 for RM599 tongue.gif
willing to let go my 2 monitors now if can get it for RM599 laugh.gif

well,ithe colour does look warmer to the right and cooler to the left.t looks llike you got a problematic unit.try calling dell,this is afterall an ultrasharp unit.
mind posting the links for the grey clour bar?

U meant the gray bar Tat I use to test my monitor at the posts above?
It done by Adobe Illustrator.

by the way... i just notice the Macbook Pro im using now also have the same hue shifting problem...hmm...im wonder whether is a common issue for LCD ?

it isn't a common issue for LCDs.Well,you should try calling Dell,Afew people at Hardocp also got this problems too,but as far as i can tell it's not widespread.

hmm , i'm afraid of getting the U2311H now .. Maybe I should get ST2321L instead ?? Cant afford to have those problem , later I
don't have any monitor to use while claiming the warranty ! sigh ,
how guys ?

juz arrived this evening..
hehehe..so far so good..no probs..
lol..

guys,my laptop only has vga n display port...
so which one is better?

since the ST2321L has little user reviews,whether it has the same problem or not cannot be confirmed.

display port is the dvi ?? and the blue one is vga right ??

Recer , yeah got little review .. But i thought the problem only persist in IPS panels ?? ST2321L is using TN panel lol ..

the problem doesn't really exist in IPS panels only.IMO such problems aren't heard on other LCDs,expecially TN panel ones are that people don't really review them/expectations for such LCDs are low

I think so..yes....please check the spec for it in DELL website for U2311H
