Bro Ricky and me had an FS bout yesterday at Mandai. Bro Edmund joined us subsequently.

Boy Oh Boy, what a FS thrashing Bro Ricky gave me . There were a few spectator and one girl even remarked "Why that uncle spider always lose one ah? "

I've been busy recently with my house renovation so hunted lesser than normal days but still actively hunting. I've encountered different breed and also snake recently while hunting on a new ground full of creeping creatures...here are some pics

I've again caught numerous fs this 2 weeks and spar them myself (more like self masturbat*** ) , this time aroud, all the fs fight pretty well and longer than all my previous videos. I notice one thing about sg's fs, they tend to turn chop after keeping for a while, that is rightly happening to my fs caught in sg namely 'mandai' and 'sg'. I think its more like partial chop evolving to full chop...here are the videos

In Particular i like the Match of [Mugen v sideEffect] very much.. Lol.. that was really Fighting Spiders doing Air-Combo like GamePlay in Marvel Super Heros..!

Just got the last component of my New Cam Panasonic Lumix Lx3, it is just an Adapter Tube, the cheapest part but yet such an important component not to be less.. Indeed a DSLR Cam really tests a Photographer's True Skills and it was definitely not as easy to produce Super Macro Pictures as i thought previously.. Lighting is very Crucial in this.. have to capture it in Optimum lighting.. Here's 2 Photos of Cloud which i tested out just now.. will continue to strive for Better Qualities..

P/s: Cloud which was captured on the 18th May, will be released soon and this shall be his last Fight in his captive period.. Of all the ML Fighters i kept before, he is the First Ever Normal-Convert-to-Chopster-Male[NCCM] who dont drink much water.. i remember whichever Fair Fighter Males i used to rear, all start to turn Sluggish and obviously require more water than before, either straight or shortly after they converted to Chopsters(either Koppow or Suppow) sometimes as short as 2week's time in captivity.. which is the case when people always say a Male's Prime(on average will end after 1.5 month's time in captivity) will go downhill even faster.. and we all know well a Chopster often loses in a Match primarily due to its weaker stamina as compared to its opponent as a Fair Fighter.. most Kakis i know, including myself, dun like their FSes to turn Chopsters.. some even see Chopsters as a kind of "Low-Class" Male.. but what if we can devise a rearing program to enable a Chopster to be as Healthy as a Fair Fighter.. able to attack and also defense well.. this will be all different.. an Unintendedly-Converted Chopster could become a Good thing too.. and so it becomes a Win-Win situation as Most Champions we seen so far in this Forum are Strong Fair Fighters such as Termy, Titan, BoomBoomPow, TFM and etc.. Most importantly in my opinion i think a NCCM should always be monitored well with his diet and fight frequency; must always not be overfed and overfought.. Bro Ricky is also very Pro in this, he can even convert his NCCM to Fair Fighters again! ..well this FS World is really Full of Unknown Stuff.. which makes it so Interesting for us to be self-motivated and keep it going to devote our time to find out more and to learn more isn't it..

Cloud's green strip seem to fade even more comparing to the last time I saw it but still fight well . I'm not a fan of different breed so i kinda scared upon encountering a bigger size different breed. I somehow caught the bavia male because it looks more like our fs (only colour different). the hyllus male (i thinks its a female) was on my shoulder the moment i spot it so easier to put in a container or i couldn't be bother to catch it if its in its nest or wandering around (most importantly i know someone who appreciate it more than I do whom I can pass to, yes bro mindstorm see you next tuesday )

Love that cute fight between Kompany and Drunken...never seen a drunk FS before.

Your other fights are also all good long exciting fights. On my part, seem to have regressed a bit in terms of standard and though I still hunted almost daily during lunch, the ML FS are still elusive. Yesterday, I actually put on my rain coat and umbrella and hunted at Nirv### in heavy rain...becoming gila soon. Managed to catch an SL sized Fs called Rain. Rain lost to P. Ramlee and P. Ramlee lost to Yakuza and Yakuza lost to Bro Ricky's 5th king.

The most important thing is the weekend is here ..... yahoo ...likely will have a small group hunt on Sunday..charging my camcorder and having wild fantasy about FS already.

Hope you'll be able to breed the crickets successfully and that will really save you lots of time and effort to find food for your FSes.. i also realise should it be practical and feasible we SG Kakis should also try to breed the crickets ourselves.. Cos nowadays the crickets we bought all dont seem to last as long as it was in the past.. i remember early last year before i met Bro Randy, i would have to take public transport and walk all the way in(20mins to and 20mins fro) just to buy a packet of crickets worthed of $2.. ..So long as i get the Tiniest Pinheads, plus sparing feeding of cabbages for them, they can easily last for 2weeks, maximum can even reach 3weeks exactly.. Nowadays even though i am already more Fortunate to know Helpful Kakis like Bro Randy and Bro Ricky who always get the crickets for us.. sadly, now the crickets always seem to disappear within 1.5weeks time.. very strange dunno why, they just vanished.. i suspect they were feasting on one another that's why.. Best thing is to breed ourselves, but first criteria is not to be scared of handling the Big size crickets.. which i find it very disgusting when they are Big..


Yeah me too not very much into other Kinds of Jumping Spiders, but some of them like the Mangrove Jumpers, Hyllus and Bavia are really Beautiful Spiders with their Intricate Colours.. As long as i know, in this forum Bro Mindstorm, Bro Danny Lam and Bro Jong are very much into it and like them very much..


Talking about a FS's Colouration.. sometimes i also dun understand why.. some FSes can just maintain their colours so well even after a long time.. some just couldnt.. though i am using the same standard method to rear every FS.. Remember that time i posted another FS named Raksasa in comparison with Cloud becos of their physique and colour similarities..? The 2 of them is a Good Example of Poles Apart in term of this.. Raksasa maintained his Golden Hue quite well on his abdomen even at his 2nd month point in captivity, meaning the lines and everything on the abdomen still more or less the same as Newly-Caught, on the contrary Cloud lost it as short as 1 month's time.. but he changed from Silverish-Green/Blue Hue to Light Blue Hue.. some FSes also do change their Base Colour after sometime..


By the way these few days i have been eagerly and excitedly testing out my Lumix LX3 with the Super Macro Lens(Raynox MSN-202).. Finally produced some Satisfactory Shots, which is about 60% of my Expectation already.. Here to share some.. the Model this time is my Black Cat.. Next time when the Model is a Giant T.Sub Male, will be really Interesting!!

Hi Everyone

I had bit of time here and there and went in search of new spot (when children do homework).

Decided to go to Normant## Par#. There were many yam leaves and CB leaves but tiny FS. The most exciting moments were spotting catfish in the drain and will be going back not to catch FS but the cute catfish.

Today, met up with Bro Ricky, Ah Kim and Ricky at Nirva##. I went with a weak team of Yakuza, Rain and P. Ramlee. It was very nice of Bro Ah Kim to be in a Christmas mood and started distributing his ML to me, to Bro Ricky and Bro Edmund. Thanks Bro Ah Kim.....I did try and try and try but cannot catch beyond an SL sized and I think Bro Ricky tried 10 times harder than me and we often bump into each other during lunch or after hours hunt.

Anyway, decided to name my presents as Lollipop and Edison. Well Lollipop is a name given by my daughter. Here are the 1st instalment of the video:-

Hi Bro Ura,

I dont really have time to see the breeding stages closely especially with my house reno going on everywhere is dust, bro ricky gave me 3 packs of crickets, 1 of which i put them in the plastic aquarium for breeding purposes. fed them with cabbage and water, hope it will grow and breed. I notice the fs dont really like lc worms cause the lc worm (the bigger ones) tend to bite them when they are biten...

I still have half pack of crickets left from my last visit to Sg, if the crickets is not growing that fast, I might need to get more from sg soon...haiz...

yea bro mindstorm is a fan of any jumping spider, right?

I like the match between micro vs p.ramlee, they fought well especially p.ramlee.

Everytime I come back to JB with crickets and worms, my staff was always looking at me one kind..luckily they didnt see all the fs housing i kept in my baggage. when the hotel people ask me what is that, i selamba tell them food for my fish, lol luckily I dont have to travel with my boss or he will definately ask questions which my surbordinates dare not ask, wahaha...

Hi everyone,

I wasn't up for hunting last weekend but upon seeing u guys working out so much especially randy's enthusiasm towards the weekend read on the forum, I got so pump up and decided to go full force hunting. My efford was awarded with some sizeable fs in a new location. I caught and kept about 10 new fs (released about 10 small fs of sl entry lvl and below).

This time around this new place, 50% of the fs belongs to chopster family and to my surprise its not those small small sizes fs, its all sl and above size chopster. Now I know why you guys dont like chopster, I sparred them and notice even upon winning they will injure themselves and need time to recover unlike the normal fighter...I dont know whether to be sad or happy having good size chopster now...

It is exciting to hear (again) that Bro Jason has found a new spot. I yearn go over to Cheras to hunt but really cannot due to happy domestic commitments. Sigh.....if only can hunt freely...

I had lots of FS hunting plans for weekend in SG. However, last minute somehow cannot carry out my plans fully but still manage to squeeze in a bit of time to find a new spot, Normant## Par#. Lots of CB leaves and yam plant but small sized FS.

Anyway, my FS fantasies were fully satisfied as Bro Ah Kim gave me 2 ML sized FS, Lollipop and Edison. I always wonder how Bro Ah Kim and Bro Buaya always manage to catch so many ML. If he did not gave us his ML, he would have 4 ML to challenge with.....and nobody can match him. Perhaps it is skill from decades of experience as after Sundays fight, noticed him bending down to see the under-side of Nirva## lilies and even though he was at the same spot as all of us, he managed to catch an SL sized FS whereas I caught 3 females. I also noticed that Bro Buaya have a unique style of squatting at a spot for long period of time and his results of some of the biggest FS in SG speaks for itself.

Glad to hear that u'd found another great new spot to hunt.our side is opposite,last week went to Nirvana happy to see the lilies plant ardy grown back to abt 10" tall,but yesterday went there again with bro Ura shocked by the place once again become botak! And pass by another spot(NT#) also being destroyed by those KNN people again..walao,we gotta catch lotsa female with egg & pass to bro Ura, just wait for all the babies grow up then we only got Fs to play. @@....
Really must say thanks to you for the efford of posted so many videos..but too many of "x pair newly caught" I suggest choose the better fighter among them & give it a fierce name instead of newly caught,that's becos u had too many newly caught FSes dy...look at the title full of xx newly caught make me feel zzzz lol..! Or may be you shud post it by installment like bro Randy do?
Regarding the green snake,actually it dead under my 打狗棒 rite after I taken e video,cos I dont want to c it again when peeping another bigger male next time..

Nowadays some of your FSes are already like SuperStars in this forum(keep winning matches after matches ), so it is Necessary to take some Macro Shots of them and post it for the FS Kaki's Awareness..

Lollipop & Edison both indeed very good fighter from bro Kim,so as my Omega & bro Edmund's Transformer 2 .we r happy like shit when Santa Kim passing the present to us,all the ML'ers gd fighter & still jumpy..he is another pro really good in keep & rear the Fs. Now exspiderking's team "suddenly" became stronger,hope tis two days can meet up to fight again. My current team:

1) Hugo (ML)
2) Mugen (ML)
3) Omega (ML)
4) Fortress (entry lvl ML)
5) J-sparkle (ML)

And two newly caught in SL fr new spot,quite similar look with Fortress in color,hope can pump up to ML too..this so far my biggest team tho not e strongest ,there must hv some fierce fight between urs & mine.

I hunted almost daily cause its just too tempting to see all the jungle like places when my car pass by. i didnt name the newly caught fses cause they are all chopster and i dont intend to keep them all (maybe 1 or 2 will be kept). for your guys pleasure viewing i took the videos and most probably im out of names and housing to keep them all,

u remember kompany? it was sl size when i caught it, when u see it in sg the last time its already ml entry lvl, now i would say its at least entry L size already seriously..i fed about 3-4 crickets a day and it pump up really fast thanks to your crickets. by luck i might see devarman growing into that size also

yesterday hunted for a bit then bro mindstorm called and joined me shortly. caught 6 fs while he got a few including a super big size spider (at least 3 times our fs size). here are the videos
