Hi Everyone

Never really introduced myself, name is Randy a.k.a Exspiderking.

Only in early Sept that I suddenly became interested in FS again after 30 years plus absence. First Kaki I met was Bro Michael and for the next 3 weeks we hunted all over SG. Caught my 1st decent sized FS, Valtor in 18/9/10. Then met Bro Ura, Kamal, Vincent, Trevally.

Catching FS, fighting FS and having it posted is totally new to me. In fact, before this, had only heard, never seen a Chopster as primary school standard not too high. Learnt a lot from Bro Ura and look forward to meeting all the old bird in the FS world too.

I may be one year late (when the old bird meet to fight FS in 2008 -2009) but better late than never. Look forward to weekend and may we all catch a Titan each.

Wah, so many posting in such a short time.

Bro Ura: I like the part about Aso "listening to my piano performance". Valtor has likewise been listening to piano, guitar and organ music from Exspiderking's sea-side mansion (..actually HDB flat). Hopefully all these music makes Valtor a better fighter.

Bro Krauser: Your 1st King name being Satsugai meaning 'murdering', ...very fierce. On the other hand, my 1st king's name Valtor is actually the handsome bad guy from Winx club...from a girly cartoon shown every evening on Octo channel. In term of names, yours win hands down. hah Ha.

Bro Kamal: Want to hunt earlier? If I have no errants or household matters, I can start even earlier. Think it was about 2 weeks ago that I met Bro Ura at 6.30am. Yes.. I can wake up at 5am plus for FS. Had also prior to meeting you guys left home to hunt before sunrise.

Will confirm meeting time later part of the week.

Yes, that is still one of the places I go to and I caught my 1st SL size spider, Ben-King there (climbed up the stairs) in early September. Have a video of Ben King somewhere in U-tube but don know how to cut and paste. Can any FS kaki please help to post the link (if you know where it is) here as I am quite bad with PC.

Excited about this weekend and doing all arrangements to try to meet on Saturday and Sunday.

Hi Viper57

Please photograph Vortex against a grid paper as I have never seen a kingkongpao (previously also never seen Chopster) before.

In SG, very hard to get FS of that size. Which part of M'sia you from? I got many relative and good friends all over M'sia. Will stay and hunt for FS near where-ever Vortex was caught.

Anyway the matches were close and could have gone either way. I could have been crying to sleep instead and take urgent leave the next day.

Besides a secret weapon in the form of Graven, Team Randy has long term planning and has been busy lately acquiring young promising fighters as part of its ongoing renewal process.

Team Randy's current stable of fighters are:-

(1) Valtor (ML)
(2) Longarms (ML)
(3) Graven (ML-just)
(4) Red Leaf(SL approaching ML)
(5) Savage (SL)
(6) Lord Zed. (SL)

Team Randy may also selectively rely on Ninja (SL) or his latest FS referred to as KRA (SL) (pronounced with a low tone). Among the team members, only Valtor and Longarms are experienced fighters. If Bro Ura manages to transform Puff Daddy from a sensitive new age spider (shy and don fight) to a normal FS, then the other members of Team Randy would welcome back Puff Daddy into Team Randy.

The senior management of Team Randy has noted Team Krauser's predicament in the loss of Shuurai and has decided to withdraw Longarms this weekend. Team Randy propose to fight Longarms with Evil-educator's F1 instead (even though F1 appears a much stronger fighter) Evil-educator, on?

Hi Viper88 and Mindstorm

I should be going to KL sometime in November 2010, will probably be one of the weekend, Saturday and Sunday.

It would be nice if I could meet you guys. What I propose is you guys catch some FS beforehand and I bring it back to SG to have the fight video. We will release the FS in the wild thereafter.

As I will be in KL with Mrs Exspiderking and two Exspiderking junior, I would not be able to hunt FS with you guys.

Making arrangements and will keep you guys posted once confirmed.

Team Krauser still not have metal container. Even if the transport department of Team Krauser collect the metal container today, too short a time till weekend to convert to vampire ..err what is all that about ?? Team Randy appears to be safe for now...

Team Ura has too formidable a line up. Team Krauser, Team Randy and Team Ezi need to form a coalition to effectively match Team Ura.

Team Randy thank Bro Ura for helping to give Puff Daddy his confidence back...the sensitive new age spider has become a normal fighter.

For tomorrow's vicious FS (team challenge) war, the CEO of Team Randy has finalised the team, namely:-

(1) Valtor
(2) Red Leaf
(3) Graven
(4) Savage; and
(5) Kra (pronounced in a low tone).

Substitute: Ninja and Lord Zed.

Puff Daddy: Team Krauser would have noticed the 100% record Puff Daddy hold...that of never winning when fighting with a named FS. (spar and practice fight don count). Can Team Krauser finally break Puff Daddy's 100% record? This would be a separate fight called "record breaking fight".

Team Randy is its quest for excellence also has two small merciless chopster (bit smaller than SL) under the team's probation and consideration. If Team Krauser has a chopster of similar size, Team Randy proposes a third category of FS fight, called "Chopster challenge".

Is Team Krauser ready or is Team Krauser marinating in fear?

Yes it was a good fight. That was Valtor's final fight. Just released him at his home town this morning at 7.08am. Felt a strange kind of sadness as Valtor was my very 1st ML sized spider.

Bro Krauser got his team strategy spot on for the Dentist V Graven fight i.e. acquire a chopster to bite a one teeth Fs. Dentist chop and Graven cannot bite back with ....err one teeth only. Dentist was far too strong for Graven. Aren't dentist suppose to be more gentle?

Thank you Bro Krauser for the exciting times. May there be many exciting FS moments for all of us.

Yes, I would like to match Puff Daddy against Spring. Thanks to Bro Ura, Puff Daddy is a far better fighter now.

Would be even better if we can form a Dream Team to challenge against Bro Ura, the proposed line up are as follows:-

(4) Dentist
(5) Red leaf
(6) Puff Daddy.

How, my fellow FS bros...? If can, we fight FS before hunt on Friday..

Hi Mindstorm

I would not be going to KL in November 2010 as my KL relative would be coming down SG in December 2010 instead. If you are Ok with it, I will try to arrange for that relative to bring your FS to SG. We had Team challenge, Dream Team challenge and maybe can call the proposed fight the Inter-country challenge ?

My family trip to Pahang in December 2010 is confirmed and look forward to catching some Malaysian FS.

*Was at Valtor spot during lunch today. Caught an ML sized FS about 3 metres from where Valtor was caught. The spot was guarded by 3 stray protective barking dogs. Took time to befriend the dogs before hunting together with them. Still considering an appropriate name.

Coincidentally I was thinking of the name Valour too. Yes, Valour it shall be.

Valour reminds me so much about Valtor, my first FS love. There are so many similarities:-

(1) Both were caught at the same place, albeit 3 metres apart;
(2) Both caught with the same weather, hot sun;
(3) Both look almost the same when newly caught;
(4) Both gave me the "wow quite big" first impression;
(5) Both fight the same way when newly caught-simply out pushing its opponent;
(6) Both were caught when I was already late and had to rush off with super great anxiety;
(7) Both gives me the strange kind of optimistic happiness; and
(8) Both were caught in the same unfamiliar dark green leaf.

Bro Ura, your team line up is very impressive. Look foward to a good fight tomorrow.

Hi Everyone

It was such a fun fight-filled"" morning and Bro Ura managed to video some very exciting fights. As there were so many fights, it took about 45 minutes for most of the FS to have their share of action.

At the moment, Bro Ura's FS are untouchable. I could not even offer a suitable challenge for his top 3 Fs. Will work harder to acquire stronger challenger for Bro Ura's FS

During these few days, have released some of my FS back into the wild. Released Valtor, kra, Ninja in the last two weeks. Released Puff Daddy and Red Leaf at P# today. May they procreate and produce more ML in the future.

Look forward to many happy FS moments.
