13 Apr 13 saw one of my SA moulted to be a big male... not that my place is swarming with big FSes but now that one of such emerges thru my hardwork and patience, I am contented...

Today, i have a small area which i have dedicated in my farm to try my hands on selective breeding of FSes, as you can see, the SAs that could be found are really limited, it is not self-sustainable at the moment for a large number of them but i am striving towards that.

So far, i have managed to breed/rear some HK tbha : Guardian Angel - Thanks to Master Kim for passing me one gigantor Tbha female (10mm) frm HK whom I suspect her to be the mother of Guardian Angel (She is the only "foreign import" @my farm) + 2 HK Tbha SA where they later moulted to became 7mm+ males. I have use the two males to breed with another two local Tbha females, they were subsequently released to my farm, a few months apart after the release of the gigantor Tbha female. From the chronological order of events, I strongly suspect this batch of FS could be the offsprings from the two local Tbha females (mated with HK Tbha). Although unable to prove otherwise, lets just enjoy what is before us...

The color of this fs is quite unique, neither green nor blue nor gold color, looks like silver to me...

I have another SA left to surprise me, this SA was caught way before I caught Black Eagle, remember I had him one week before I went holiday (Ard 02 Mar 13), then I passed to Bro Randy to help me take care while i was away (Thanks alot Bro! ) Today is 22 Apr 13, it has been more than a month since I caught him and he hasn't moult yet!





Hope I can continue to improve the quality of the FSes, though not sure if they are good fighters but at least its a start...

Congrats on the successful breeding, BTL. The colour of Black Eagle is quite unique (more towards gold). May I know the status of Guardian Angel?

Yes, thanks to our 'new' kakis namely Bros Swee, Vennel, Ivan, Ah Huat, Bryan (Hope I din miss any other bros), we are able to have more happy Fs fights with new Spiders.

On my part, TTB is at most an entry level SL sized Fs and I hope to have much more time, opportunity and FS spots to strengthen my team.

Thanks once again to Randy for taking all the effort to capture all these precious moments, kudos to him...

I have been so looking forward to the moulting of the one and only SA left in my collection but UGH!....
He has moulted no doubt... but did not survive... the form and color looks similar to Black Eagle, could be akin to him, it is really unfortunate as he could also turn out to be another sizeable fighter....

I have proceed to try my hands to mate both Black Eagle and Mary Jane (Yes, the L-size virgin bu which i had successfully breed out at my farm), several attempts to mate these two L-size FS has proved futile as BE is young and MJ is big and aggressive, but on 23 Apr (yesterday), one such attempt was successful! Both of them mated (unfortunately too excited and didn't managed to capture on vid) and was separated lateron to prevent MJ from hurting BE... Let's await and see if both are fertile...



BE is shown to be more stable few days later.. both the form and color looks better now.

I found plenty of T. subs in Taiwan. I've not seen a T.bha there though. It's possible that T. bhas never made it to the island.

It seems that HK is the country with abundance of T-sub and T-bha.

Sorry for being quiet lately as busy with work & etc...However,still log in forum to read when i free & join our Fs bouts as usual..just hunt lesser.

Very nice & big Fs that bro BTL had:a.k.a Black Eagle. Finally saw it in last weekly fs tournament,it close to 8mm and about same size with Zet!

is Black Eagle current biggest yet? Answer is NO...the current number one in size goes to master Kim's new super giant,namely Unreal-Peno,molted fr a sub-adult too. I personally highly suspect Unreal-Peno is one of offspring fr HK+local X'breed. Bcos the size of HK's Tbha but green stripe on its body like local Tbha. Base on master Kim said he did released losta HK Tbha especially mostly female in his particular "secret spot",he did tried to mate HK's Tbha male with local female & local male male with HK's Tbha female as well b4 release them. If UP really a X'breed Tbha means his effort finally has paid off!

The color looks more on pale green just like what we have seen on local normal Tbha,The brown spot on it's abdomen is lighter compare to pure HK Tbha in dark brown. Here's the pic just to compare the color with BaBa,BoBo & Tempest:-

Last weekend was one of the memorable FS event for me.

Bro Ken organized a FS mass gathering BBQ dinner at SAF Yacht club house, Singapore on Saturday 11/5/13. The 1st mass gathering was at Pulau Ubin, SG few yrs back and it’s alwys Bro Ken’s long wish to have another get together event among FS kakis. The mass gathering idea was suggested up again by Bro Ken end of April and received a lot of good response support from many fs kakis including me and Bro Mindstorm.

This FS mass gathering was special as its Bro Mindstorm 1st time to go SG and meet up with many other SG FS kakis that shared the same passion in FS.
It’s also exciting for me as I can meet up with current and new friendly FS kakis. I also want to see Unreal Peno and Black Eagle live.

Bro Mindstorm and i took flight direct to SG on Sat morning and reach SG at 11.30am. Bro BTL treat us for delicious SG chicken rice lunch and later check in at SAF Yacht chalet.



After that we went for short hunt outside the chalet area, found some female FS but no male FS.



Weather was quite hot that afternoon. Later evening abt 3.30pm, we went to the chalet swimming pool to cool down. Bro Mindstorm is an excellent swimmer, gave me good advice “power kick” and show me some swimming techniques to improve my basic swimming skills.



At about 5pm+, some of the FS kakis already came. Its nice to meet Bro Swee, Ah Huat, Louis and some other new FS kakis. Master Kim then took out Unreal Peno the 9mm T-Bha FS to show to Mindstorm and me! Its really a huge FS! Very big head, abdomen size and long arms. Definitely one of the largest T-bha FS I’ve ever seen so far.

UP dominates and won. Solid build size and excellent fighting skill. Master Kim take care and train UP really well.
Can see in fights, UP fought with high confident charging towards its opponent, fast arm pushing, tight grab, flipped and bites its opponent hard,and even chase its retreated opponent. No doubt UP very strong and a fearsome FS to fight with.

After all the exciting FS fights over, most of the FS kakis already arrived and we start the BBQ. Bro Ken showing his skill to heat up the BBQ pit fire.



Lotsa good food available at the BBQ session; satay, ketupat, innards, prawns, squids, sotong balls, fish fillets, chicken drumsticks & wings, sausages, mango, watermelon, etcs..eat till full. Thanks to bro Swee, Rudy, Ken, Tina, Kim’s wife and those who hlp BBQ all the food for us 2 eat. Its great to sit 2gether, relax, chit chatting and enjoying the yummy food facing nice breezing wind from the sea.



We also have a short spar between BTL Black Eagle with Kim’ spar FS. BE have unique dark brown colour abdomen and defensive arm stance bend tight in during fights.

Viper, thanks for the great write-up for our Singapore trip as it reflects exactly my sentiment for the whole event. Really amazed by the fellowship of all the FS brothers from SG built up over the years thanks to their dedication and passion for FS that surpasses mine many times over.

While the FS highlight was to see the current world record T.bha size currently kept by Master Kim(holy cow big!), it was most enjoyable for me to get to meet and know some of the SG bros I haven't met before, Bro Ken, Swee, Ah Huat, Vincent and Edwin as well as to get to know better for those I have met before. Most interesting to listen to their stories and jokes, wheather FS related or not. Nice of Bro Seng, Bro Edwin, Bro Ricky, Bro Rudy and Bro Ken to stay up to nearly 2.30am to chit chat in our room after the BBQ. It was heart warming too to see some of our FS bros bringing along their family member(s) to this gathering, Randy with his whole family, Master Kim and his wife, Ah Huat and his son, and Bro Ken with his wife-to-be, Tina. Big thanks to her as she helped to prepare a lot of the BBQ food.

Thanks to Bro Ken for initiating this gathering and all the Bros for making it happen and treating Viper and me the BBQ food and stay, fetching us, with Master Kim, the next day to hunt and treating me Wantan mee.
Thanks to Master Kim for showing us his Unreal-Peno of unreal size! and for his connection so we can chill out in the boat-house.

Very quiet recently.
