Base on current records, Jamuji is next strongest FS. In my opinion, La Mistica still has not reached it's fullest potential. LM's size is comparable to Zet. Strategic training to further boost its stamina/ fighting will and enough rest. Looking forward to this re-match between Zet & LM.

Hi Everyone

I went to Bintan Lagoon, Indonesia for a short family trip (again) from 2-4 March 2013.

I stay at my company's bungalow and found a bit of time to travel out of the resort to hunt by motor bike.

Well. there is also a picture of something we don't see anymore....a well.



Unfortunately there was no FS of significant size but many nice spots for photographs.





There were also nice looking spots within the resorts but again, no Fs of good size.

Happy to have the whole tree of big leaves to myself.



Here is the picture of the biggest caught, which does not reach 6mm at all.



Well, it was a nice family trip anyway.

We had a nice noisy gathering in Bedok South on Friday night at 10.00 pm on an auspiciouly sounding date of 8 of March 2013.

Besides familiar names like Bro Rudy, Ricky and myself being present, we also had brother Swee and his cousin, Vennel, Ivan and 2 more gentleman and kids too.

Everyone had the same purpose.....to be the champion of champion. As Bro BTL is away for vacation, I have the honour of looking after Zet but all fights concering Zet would be under Bro BTL's name.

The fight started with Bro Ivan with his newly caught, called Van.

Based on my slightly imperfect eye-sight, it is a good SL sized Fs from Depo Road.

I decided to start with Golden Snake.

So, it is Zet again. Zet seems to have "changed" colour - darker now.

We need to field stronger spiders against Zet. Let Jumanji and La Mistica fight Zet in the next round.

Gannicius and Meteorito fought very well and have strong fighting will.
Might be able 2 give Zet some good challenges later on.

Zet still in excellent form under bro BTL good care.

Last week, i also went to check out some lily plants stretch nearby my housing area for FS.
Its located at the steep hill slope. Need to do some hill climbing abit to reach tat spot only to find out that actually i can access it
via the small entrance beside the big house on the top area.

Ryback and the entire team has been retired and I am starting with a new team.

However, it is more and more difficult to start a new team as yet another FS spot has been demolished, namely a large part of Nirvana Secret Spot. The last big name from this spot is Samson and my last decent Fs from that spot is Golden Snake. On 10 March 2013, went to the spot before it was boarded up, caught and released a obviously ML sized one arm male and kept a tiny sized Fs called Le Roy Brown. Returned on 12 March 2013 hoping to have a fruitful harvest and was sad to see the place fully boarded up and the excavator already cleared the entire land. Well, that is Fs life in Singapore.

The good new is Bro Swee has a group of merry men all eager to kick start their FS passion after decades of absence. We met up on Friday night at Bedok South @ 10.00pm and yes, it was rowdy and noisy.

The opening fight....

I chose the name Hansel as just hours later after catching him, I was mesmerized by the eloquence, knowledge and of course beauty of a night safari guide by the sweet name of "Grattel" ...so Hansel and Grattel.

By now, I was fired up and demand a shot at the title...I demanded a fight with Zet .

Arrrgh....it was close but not good enough.

We decided to rest Zet so as not to over-exert him.

Yes, 2 heavy weights going all out to inpress and Meteorito proves to be the stronger one.

The night fight ended rather abruptly with Bro Rudy's Fs still undefeated.

However we can all democractically agree that Zet is the champion of champion and another mass fight should be arranged at the earliest opportunity.

We all had fun and thanks to Bro Swee for getting all of his friends back into this exciting sports of fighting Spiders.

Wow, Hansel can fight. If only it is about the same size as Zet.

Hopefully, Throh is not injured.

May I know the status of La Mistica and Jumanji? Will they be fielded against Zet?

I was amazed with Hansel strength, fighting skill & will against a bigger opponent, Zet.
Personally, I feel Hansel is the 1st fs that really able to do tight arm lock, push back and gave continuos strong fast attack at Zet for quite some time!.
The sudden burst of fighting energy and attacking speed from Hansel was awesome.

Zet at the start during arm pushing time manage 2 grab Hansel into ball shape, flipped upside down and throw/push away but
Hansel came back more aggressive with both arm lock 2 disable Zet.

Can see Hansel use full strength to hold Zet while arm locking, at the same increase its attacking force using full body lung forward banging hard
at Zet 2X times while turning in circle with many close range bites! Zet also fought strongly but Hansel attacking speed keep increasing and its obvious Zet on defensive mode at 0.17 -0.27s. Zet managed to arm lock back and overpowered Hansel later on.
Hansel retreated.

Great fighting effort from Hansel .

I am thinking it may be better to release Zet. It's possibly two months? old and with the constant fighting, it may be injured one day. We just have to remember it is a great FS and largest MAL spider to-date.

Haha bro Jong/John,two mths still consider young ley. Last time bro Rudy keep one piece can last to 4 mths & look at Shining Armour now,still healthy after 3 mths & still actively fight for the championship title. My personal thinking is let Zet fight until he lose,let's c how far he can go & don't think he is too old. Even lose to smaller also nvrmind becos playing Fs mainly for frenship & we all had fun not like u say play must win scare lose then go release to avoid losing one.juz 2 sharing,the best method to keep Fs life longer is using mini fan to blow on Fs 24/7,currently i got 2 chopster & using this method still very active after 2 mths i catch them.thank to bro randy teach mi tis & another person i wan to say thank is bro Schulyer Wheeler.(who invented electric fan in 1886).

Ps-anyone or Zet dare 2 challenge my 2 chopster?? haha.
