Ofcos not forgetting with another pro hunter too-bro jason. Thanks for spending times & letting us to stay in his newly renovated hse,just like 5stars hotel.
B4 KL trip I went back to my home town,Kuantan on 20/1/11. as usual I brought along all my Fs. Having chat with uncle abt Fs when he saw me feeding them.he checked on my Fs size & said:"Aiya,small lar..last month I saw one male jumping outside my hse easily bigger than what u hv.." Wow,really that big?? Ok la,I decide to go his hse to check ard on 2nd day morning.
Dint c any sign of giant male like he told but caught 5 males in 20mins at this "jambu tree" alone.
Yes keep only one long arms probably ML(bigger than LOL & Rottweiler) Sultan-P
Hunted for another 30mins but dint c any decent sized. After that no time to hunt there & back to sg on 24/1/11 night & sleep earlier bcos gotta drive to KL on 2nd day again as plan. Contacted master Kim go together with me & inform bro jason the timing b4 i go to the bed.
I realise during cny the forum is like a ghost town but im sure its not because of ppl losing their interest, rather they are pack with other activities so am I .I've never had such tiring yet wonderful cny before in my life. This is a prosperous year for the fighting spiders as I visited their houses ('bai nien') more than I did with humans.
It was an honor hunting with the legendary handsome exspiderking in Ipoh on the first day of cny, I did not expect those places where I hunt when I was a kid turned to some develop hotels and buildings. We managed to scout for new hunting ground and I hope mr handsome will not be too disappointed to go back with small size fs. here are some photos :-

Hi Randy, I went through all the fights you posted. Thanks. Some comments: 1. Your new "Sword" did fight well. 2. Winning performance by Dark Horse looks consistent. 3. Heartthrob wins one and loses the other, though I think it should have won the second match. It looks stronger.

Hunting trip in KL
Me & master Kim start our journey to KL on 25/1/12,4+pm fr sg reached at 9+pm. 5hrs is considered long travel time not bcos of traffic jam like bro Randy do,it's bcos we stop twice in half way for coffee & show each other our newly caught.master Kim newly caught chopster Batu Bahat ardy bigger than my Sultan-P & tis the 1st time I saw Kim's giant T Bha fr Hong kong-A-Peno..it's damn huge!
After taken our dinner with bro jason we go for snooker game,bro mindstorm join later on,hard to believe he also can play very well in snooker game too..
Day 1-Felcra spot
Left mindstorm & right is bro jason when reached our 1st hunting ground in morning.
Kim & mindstorm
Hunted abt 1+ hrs but only managed to get few small males & dint catch any good size here, except bro mindstorm caught his good fighter --commando. We decide to switch our hunting spot to Genting half way then.
It's sparring time! Mindstorm's commando still the strongest among all the newly caught.
Caught losta males in genting but mostly small sized,Kim caught a big subadult & champion hunter bro jason caught the biggest male of the day. After that we left genting contacted bro Viper meet up at (Melawati?) to explore the new hunting ground but nil Fs. So we decide to hunt at Embassy spot where last time bro jason caught his previous king who has beaten my LOL. Split up with bro mindstorm there & thanks for bringing us/spending his times fr morning til almost evening..
Embassy lily spot with bro Viper Hunted here abt 1+hrs no big male too.
Start our battles @ jason's hse. Check out master Kim's sexy "underwear"..wow,wish I also manage to get the same pattern too..

Ya, the place we went hunt that evening is at Melawati area. Drive pass by that area when went to my friend's open house last time and seems might have some FS.
Master Kim caught a couple FS and its the strongest among other FS caught at the area that evening. Bro Mindstorm, Jason and myself also 1-2 Fs but not good size and cant fight well.
Here's the pics of Melawati area.
Sultan P and Batu Pahat both also large FS. For me, Bro Ricky's Sultan P is bigger than Hyperion. Maybe just molted not long ago and not much fighting experience. Should become a stronger fighter under Bro Ricky care.
Master Kim's large size chopster Batu Pahat and Bro Jason's Felcra chopster both also strong and fierce.
Commando caught by Bro Mindstorm also a strong good fighter, defeated many other FS before lost to DynaForce.
Bro Ricky's HK T-bha seems fight better and more longer against themselves compare to the fight against our local T-bha... maybe seeing different fighting stance makes them avoid 2 fight long or just molted not too long.
Even APeno the largest HK T-Bha also seems extra careful when displaying fighting stance and moving backwards while analysing Hyperion fighting stance and size before engage in solid fight.
Its great to witness all the inter country SG/Malaysia against HK T-bha FS fight live.
The experience from all these FS fights is share for all T-bha FS kakis for the true joy and passion of playing FS.

As what you say, Commando has won many fights before losing to Dynaforce. It could have been tired by then though we know that Dynaforce is a good fighter too. Saw one/two of Dynaforce's fights before.
Hyperion used all his strength to do a strong long push all the way down to break free and once APeno released its arm lock, Hyperion stand higher/jump up to do last powerful bite chop attack on Apeno head before retreat to prevent Apeno from arm lock him down again.
Yeah, it is amazing how much power Hyperion have to be able to do that...pushing Apeno backwards for quite a distance. It would be like me trying to push strongman Ricky 20 feet backwards! No chance man, not even one feet... but Hyperion did just that, mustering all his strength. Must be due to his master's eager encouragement..."Hyperion, come on, Hyperion!" From this match, can see Ricky is right to say that Hongkong Tbha seems to be more defensive in their fighting. More towards holding their stance rather than chopping forward, which Hyperion was more geared towards. But we know this is only the begining, I hope to see more Hongkong male Tbha action as we know that there are many more newly moulted HK Tbha in incubation period in Spore... I am sure more variety of fight moves will emerge. While much deserved credit goes to Hyperion, Apeno himself actually has shown to be a good fighter and I believe has yet to reach his peak.
Added on January 31, 2012, 2:51 amForgot to mention Master Kim gave me one of his large HK Tbha which unfortunately has lost one of his pedipalps during his last moult, which I'll name him HK1. I think HK1 is only slightly smaller that Apeno, which Master Kim feels very "sayang" for losing one of his pedipalps. But I am VERY HAPPY to have him!

Yeah, very happy that Commando emerged champ for the long day's catch! But Dynaforce is certainly a force to reckon with, which a think Commando still quite hard to be able to beat Dynaforce as Commando didn't really give a good enough fight against him. Then again, Commando looks fresh, so he still may have quite a bit of fighting career ahead of him.

A very effective way to get big male which bro Buaya commonly use-"squat & wait like a fossil" demonstrating by master Kim.
Bro Viper join in later on hunting at the place we ardy hunted & still managed to get 2-3 good sized males..
Yes champion hunter bro jason again caught a biggest male of the day-Longkang. Comparing size with Batu Pahat only abit smaller. Longkang on grid abt 7.2-3mm.
Afterward we shift location to Saphire's spot err..sry was busy with hunting forgot to take pic..

The thread has become very alive. Let's comment on the fights.
1a) Good Spar (Left) V Small Chopster (Right) 310112
1b) Putra (Right) V Good Spar (Left) 310112
Good Spar, being the bigger size, was able to block chopster and won. In the second fight, Good Spar was having the upper hand. But somehow Putra towards the end make a strong push and Good Spar was defeated.
2. Ricky's Nintendo (top) v Kims Batu Pahat(bottom) We all know that Kim's FS are all large size. And this is a chopster. I expect a brutal fight. It is a good fight but not very brutal. Nintendo won.
3. Kim's one Teeth vs Ricky's : 1) DynaForce & 2)LOL This should be exciting. DynaForce has won Commando in KL and LOL is a good consistent fighter. But how can one spider vs two. It is unfair. Joking lah. (a) Look at the size of the HK T-Bha. So big. And why do HK spiders love to gosun so much? It seems that is their SOP. Maybe one day they will go back go back and fall off the leave. Anyway, one Teeth has an early time against DynaForce. One strong push and DynaForce is nowhere to be seen. (b) The fight against LOL looks more interesting though it started in the middle. Two sommersaults and LOL wins.
4. Ricky's LOL (top) vs Kim's A-Peno (bottom) Now it is against the biggest FS, Apeno. Look at the difference in size. Brave LOL has to run before it is captured by Apeno. I think that King Kong is now in Malaysia. Am I right? So we are left with Red Devil to challenge Apeno.
5. Ricky's Nintendo vs Kim's T Sub I love T-sub. They are gigantic. I have been asking asking asking asking asking. What is the status of Jason's 40+ T-subs from HK? Noone seems to be willing to answer me. Nvm, back to this fight. Alamak, the T-sub ran away.

Today is Federal Day - Public Holiday in Malaysia. Going to meet up with friends at town for some coffee bean chit chatting. I went out in the afternoon abt 1pm+ and drive passing by Keramat AU3 area.... saw some garden farm area behind some housing area and decided to go check out whether there have any FS.
Just did a fast hunt coz its very hot day and later have appointment with friends. ... That new farm/garden area have alot overlap leaves with females FS and spiderling but no big male FS found.

Hi John, I've given away all the tsub caught from HK to bro mindstorm and Akim. Tsub is a huge breed but somehow my heart always have the softest spot for tbha.
ps : I will be in sg this weekend and hopefully my 2 best fighter (HK Tbha and my chopster) + bro mindstorm's comando will be ready for their own category tournament.
Oh I see, Jason. Glad to hear that all your T-subs are doing fine. I viewed all the videos you posted. The chop fight is very brutal. Marble is almost as big as Apeno. It could have performed better. Thank goodness that Guiness Stout is not too hungry or your chopster may have become his food. Your chopster is quite big size too.
May your FS win big this wkend. Marble has potential.

First of all, my Deepest Apology for such a Long Absence here.. really sorry everyone.. Been really Busy with these and that since back from my HK Hunting Trip in Christmas 2011.. and now finally is more free to make a posting here again.. I can see that lately our forum is really bustling with Lots of FS Events especially with such a Powerful Newcomer like our Bro John a.k.a utility47.. you must be really enjoying all the stories and videos here very much, as i can see your replies are always prompt..! hope one day Bro John you can come out and meet us too..

Ok shall waste no time now and continue with some backstage-work i been putting time on since i'm back from HK.. i alone actually brought back 64 HKSA(HongKong SubAdult), of which were already selectively picked when at there and i believe in this batch there are no M-size males, at least a SL-size as been given to the Kakis.. had since retained 22 myself.. among the given-out balance.. many of which even reached L-size i heard..!
As for the 22 HKSA, i had reclassified them into 2 Main Groups, the Top Tier and 2nd Tier which i have named it as the [H]uge(no.) and [L]arge(no.), respectively.. gauged them visually using head size as the benchmark.. and the sequences are H1 ~ H12 and L1 ~ L10..

As you might have noticed, the missing male here is my L9, it has been more than a month's time since back from HK and he is still taking his own sweet time, no signs of moulting at all yet.. lol.. Sizes are not included above as i feel it is rather subjective to most people and hence you guys shall decide how many ML-sizes, L-sizes and XL-sizes are there in the list.. also there should be one Unique Male in the list having a size not belonging to any of the 3 sizes mentioned.. as a kind reminder especially for newcomers like Bro John, for our standard practice of measuring a FS on the grid, we do not count the pedipalps in, the 0.0mm will literally start from the eyes right down to the end of abdomen tip..
Was expecting to capture a Full Moulting Course this time and was really Lucky to have one captured even 1+min before the old head exoskeleton actually peel off..!
Also already standby a Tripod for it the night before.. Signs of Moulting include Darkened Legs which i find it to be the most Reliable sign out of all other possible signs.. once the Tip of Legs became black.. within 3 days guaranteed will moult.. here's 2 photos depicting how it will look like:

Hi Ura, great to hear from you. Thanks for posting the 21 beautiful spiders and the educational video on moulting. Taking a look at the 21 spiders, are they about the same age because the colour of their abdomen are all brownish gold? For the moulting video, what really happened to the spider at the end? Does not seem to see it.
Thanks for the sparring video. It really shows the power of Tempest. It looks like a very good fighter. Because of its 8.7mm size, it will be able to challenge Apeno.
You asked us to vote for the spiders. I look at them three times. It's really difficult. Picture H2 is quite unique though. Because of the side view, H2 looks like a cockroach.
