Hi Everyone
Bro BTL, that is really cool stuff you doing, raising T Bha sling. As a child, I have always dream of keeping FS outdoor and raising them to maximum size. Now you are actually doing it...Wow, wish I can do the same and please keep us periodically updated about the slings.

Bro BTL :-> Nice FS Farm setup and great pics. Looks like the FS breed very well ... orchid leaves r thick and heavy.. FS need stronger web to pull the leaves 2gether for making a good nest. Hope maybe later u can find a large and strong male FS in ur own FS farm  icon_idea.gif

Hi Bros, thanks for the encouragement, not sure if it works but i will just give it a try... too lazy to go hunting for FS so see if can breed my own...lol... laugh.gif

Its great to meet u in person, Bro Rudy and have chance for some friendly FS matches.
Your FS especially Crixus are strong because can give Hyperion some fight.

Thanks for bringing along 2 T-sub to fight with Hyperion.
1 Large and 1 big T-Sub. Very huge head, long arms.. etcs..
Really exciting can see how both of these Thiania species facing each other live.

At 1st.. both seems not interested to fight.. no arm stance and just either stay still look each other or just away pass by... i suspect the indoor light issues so we went to ground floor near the main door area which have some sunlight.

The large T-sub size is really huge and very long arm. Hyperion look very small when facing the large T-sub but still dare to show fighting arm stance taunting 2 fight and do some arm pushing before back off. Eventho retreat after realize the big size gap different.. its still a daring effort shown by Hyperion. Like bro Mindstorm said Hyperion still dare to play with the much larger size T-sub. Showing its teeth and try to bite.

The big size T-sub also bigger than Hyperion but not so much size gap compare to the 1st T-sub.
In this fight, Hyperion did arm fighting stance, arm pushing and 1 light chop to the big T-sub. The big T-sub retreat and later jump off the platform.
Hyperion won in this short fight.

Hyperion eventho smaller size compare to the T-Sub but still can fight and win

Thanks again to Bro Rudy, we can see this T-Sub and T-bha fights.
*
Hey Bros, thanks for sharing this remarkable face-off between these two different species, really an eye opener, thanks!
From the vid, i am impressed with Hyperion's courage, he kept trying to confront the Tsub despite the size difference and
kudos to Viper for letting his L size FS to "perform" this risky stunt as there are many unforeseen possibilities since no one has tried before! notworthy.gif

Btw some new pics to share, this week at my nursery

Its a very good initiative to start up FS farm. thumbup.gif
Any pictures of the whole garden area?
With proper planning, good land space area, suitable plant leaves, good quality males & female FS, and food supplies....FS can breed easily n fast.

Some small spot of green leaves like the pic below also good for FS to thrives..... tats the leaves i caught Hyperion from. drool.gif
not sure what type of leaves... look like those yam leaves but tiny version:D
Maybe can get it from those shop selling garden plant stuff or bring some back 2 ur garden if spotted outdoor. icon_rolleyes.gif
More leaves for your garden and more choice /type of leaves for the FS to populate.

Congrats to bro Ura keep getting big male! None of my current Fs's size close to Masaro..don't even mention Fantasy & Hyperion. recent hunting caught countless males (at least 10 per 1day) but biggest ones only entry level ML,the rest M /SL all released back to the wild..and probably my 1st king now is a female, named it Kiss

Hey Bro Ricky,

Your Kiss is really a Typical Female Chopster.. i doubt most Males will be able to beat her as most of them are Gentlemen by nature.. Will be Great to pit against 2 such Females.. and yet to have such a Match here.. looking forward to one soon.. smile.gif

Thanks Bro for the Crickets today and coming my place for the FS Bouts.. ..as usual really enjoyed all the FS discussion and opinion sharings with you.. as we always got lots and lots of things in common.. well, as they always say.. Great Minds think alike.. brows.gif

The Matches we had today:

Ura's Sakura(bottom) vs Ricky's Spar99(top) - 131211

Ura's Masaro(bottom) vs Ricky's Musso(top) - 131211

Ura's Fantasy(right) vs Ricky's Vanadyl(left) - 131211

Ura's Fantasy(bottom) vs Ricky's Musso(top) - 131211

I am impressed by your Spar99! He is really a Good-Sized Chopster.. hope to see other of his Fights with the other Kakis's FSes soon.. Vanadyl also another Long Arms Fella.. thumbup.gif ..All the Best for your Huntings Bro.. icon_rolleyes.gif

..and here's some New Macro Shots of Fantasy.. hmm not so well-taken.. will strive to be better..

Hi Bro Btl,

Very Epic FS Farm you have it there.. rclxms.gif ..maybe someday must invite us there for a Visit.. brows.gif ..T.Bha Slings take probably 3-4 months to reach Adulthood.. i believe you must have caught many Huge Females all over SG in the past few weeks and released it all there.. Very Good Idea indeed.. will be Keen to know the Size of the Males when they finished their Last Moult.. Pls keep us periodically updated.. thanks.. All the Best..~ icon_rolleyes.gif

Yo Bro Jason,

A Newly-Moulted Male measuring at 7mm is indeed a Good-Sized one, Congrats.. rclxms.gif ..but i am more Impressed with his abdomen tip color and thick arms.. looks unusually yellowish, normally we will only get this coloration on the tip after keeping for sometime.. by the way dun worry too much, afterall he is just a newly-moulted male, every moulting process is actually not easy for any FS.. sometimes it is like taking a Risk.. FS can just get stuck in the midst of it.. recently in my T.Sub Slings there are already 5 such cases.. still feeling weird.. he is just being thirsty you can see he even dashed forward for water at the 0:08s of the video.. next time when you keep a Subadult Male again, try to feed him with water more regularly.. drinking alot of water after moult is a norm, but it can also due to not drinking enough days before the moult.. it is believed that the size expansion rate in a moulting process depends on the fluid level in a FS's body.. which might attributes to why Rainy Season produces Bigger Sized FS.. All the Best Bro! icon_rolleyes.gif

U guys are always welcome to hunt here anytime, Genting has a lot of good size fs (sizes which will make u really drool). U might just become the fs supplier in sg soon looking at your farm drool.gif Ranging from cb leave to pandan and lily plant, u have it all in one place which will make hunting less hectic tongue.gif . your project is already a success killing 2 birds wih one stone, 2 hobbies in a place save a lot of time thumbup.gif

Hi Bro Jason,

No Problem Bro Jason, also try just to pump him in the coming 2 weeks and strictly no chop and tough fights for him.. will be better.. give him a small virgin female if possible too, it helps in boosting his confidence.. Good Luck! biggrin.gif

Yo Bro BTL, ur first stage looks like a good foundation for "Home of Fses"just imagine this places wil be swarming with fs(hundreds of kangs and bu). Like what bro Jason mentioned" Supplier of fs" huh?...haha, wanna change ur nick? BTL to SOF(supplier of fs)....nice place u got...nice cooling place with lots of different plants for fs..... thumbup.gif
Any intention for money plants and pepper leaves? personally, i have 1 favourite plant for fs, that's chinese bamboo, this plant is strong and has many over-lapping leaves for fs to hide.

From now on, i know where to release all my fs, rather than let them die/m.i.a before me.....haha, thou i dun have any fs now, tell me when's ur next hunting, itchy hands gonna start working, have strong feeling now.............

One important thing u may already have answer/solutions .....which is their food......... u cant be feeding them crickets all the time? i think have to leave them in the "wild" to hunt and fight like any other fs(survival series, fittest shall live) rclxms.gif ....
i believe animals, insects, song birds etc are at their best performance when at wild, when home-kept, spoon fed, they tend to lose their touch, their nature instinct(correct me if i am wrong).

Yeah, thanks a lot for visiting us and allowing me to witness such a historical event, a malaysian L T.bha confronting a Hongkong T.sub. Never a waste of time to indulge in one of the things I enjoy most. It was a great pleasure to meet another fs kaki like you and an honour to be among you guys. I was impressed with your "bag of imports" and a big thanks to you for your presents, a Malaysian "T-sub"(or T-sub look alike) female and Berneldus given to you by Bro Ura! This i must say a bigger thanks to Bro Ura. thumbup.gif

At last! Thanks Bro Viper for uploading the matches, with sound effects and all! Your Hyperion is really a brave fs, dare to confront such a monstrous size distance cousin. I still remember Bro Jason's reaction when Bro Rudy took out his T.sub...his face was quite stoned and I think he uttered something like..."Walan eh..."

Anyway, having witness the face-offs, I can see that in reality, both species are actually quite reluctant to engage each other. Having many experiences trying to face different types of jumpers with each other and seeing their reactions, I can see that it is quite the same with T.bha and T.sub. It is only after many attempts to get them to spar with each other that Hyperion, after being psyched up, finally did try to spar with both the T.subs. The fact remains that both are different species and I believe that should they encounter each other in the wild, then it is a 99.99% thing that both will go about their ways without fighting. Chances is of course T.bha will make way for the much bigger T.sub.

Having said that, that day we also witnessed that a T.bha chopster(actually according to Bro Jason, it was only partial) is certainly a force to reckon with, at the very least in terms of spirit in this case. Bro Jason's partial chopster very daringly tried to chop the larger T.sub, but in the end the effect was no-effect.
Here's the clips(sorry for no-so-good quality because taken from my old camera but can see quite clear the attempts and hear the comments)
http://youtu.be/8xof-nfdkl4

Lastly thanks to Bro Jason for coordinating the meet up and letting us use his new beautiful home for fs sparing!

Some fierce and aggressive T-bha full chopster i saw bfr prefer to eat & suck other spider blood juice from abdomen, arms, legs instead of normal insects juice blood...Unlike other normal t-bha/partial chopster that spit out its opponent blood juice during fight, these chopster grab hard onto its prey use its sharp teeth pierce into its prey skin n suck them till dry or till abdomen full. These are the cannibal type of T-bha chopster. icon_rolleyes.gif

Was impressed with bro BTL nursery. Is it rented ? Expensive ? I've seen fish hobbyists renting ponds from fish farms to keep their beloved fishes, now got nursery renting service too hehe.

Yeah bro Ken25, throw all your fs there and when Sg lacks of good fs, u guys can go to the nursery and hunt kekeke. To make it more challenging, you guys are not allow to cut or plug the leaves, can only catch it with bare hands haha.

Personally i feel certain lighting situation especially indoor flourescent light brightness/positioning might affect spider visibility.
This can be seen in recent FS fight indoor where most of the time they seems to be abit blind and just walk around passing by each other.
I feel they only rely on movement vibration sound to detect its opponent position and try to fight due to limited visibility.

Can see in this previous old FS fight indoor.. my FS seems like rubbing/touching in the dark try finding its opponent 2 fight.. biggrin.gif

Hi Everyone

Yes, Simei Championship is back, at high altitude. Present were Bro Ricky, Rudy and myself.

I came with 2 FS, Heartthrob and my newly caught on 121211 Solomon Kane hoping for glory. The others of my Fs are there with a glimmer of hope, though realistically I know is hard to win the championship.

The first 2 fights were a mix up between Spade and Valadyl....maybe is Bro Ricky's tactic biggrin.gif

Randy's Shy Guy (Top) V Ricky's Vanadyl (Bottom) 161211

Ricky's Vanadyl (Right) V Rudy's Newly caught I (Left) 161211

Randy's Svendricks (Right) V Rudy's Newly Caught II (Left) 161211

Rudy's Newly Caught II (Bottom) V Ricky's Cyclone (Top) 161211

Randy's Iscariot (Right) V Rudy's Lala Land (Left) 161211

Rudy's Lala Land (Top) V Ricky's Gatsby (Bottom) 161211

Well finally is Solomon Kane's turn. He's from Mandai and cannot tahan chop yet:-

Randy's Solomon Kane (Left) V Ricky's Darkie (Right) 161211

Ricky's Darkie (Right) V Rudy's Stopper (Left) 161211

Ricky's Spade (Right) V Rudy's Runner (Left) 161211

Ricky's Spade (Bottom) V Randy's Solomon Kane (Top) 161211

Ricky's Santa (Top) V Rudy's Sub Zero (Bottom) 161211

Rudy's Lacius (Right) V Randy's Shamrock (Left) 161211

Rudy's Lacius (Right) V Ricky's Simiwago (Left) 161211

Many FS Bro have wondered about the possible outcome of Smokin Ace and Musso. Here's the answer:-

Rudy's Smokin Ace (Left) V Rudy's Musso (Right) 161211

Rudy's Smokin Ace (Left) V Ricky's Vanadyl (Right) 161211

Ricky's Newly Caught (Top) V Rudy's Lego (Bottom) 161211 (Recommended thumbup.gif )

Randy's Heartthrob (Top) V Ricky's Cyclone (Bottom) 161211

Rudy's Lala Land (Top) V Ricky's Spade (Bottom) 161211

Rudy's Lala land (Top) V Ricky's Santa (Bottom) 161211

Rudy's Lacius (Top) V Ricky's Vanadyl (Bottom) 161211

Rudy's Smokin Ace (Right) V Ricky's Cyclone (Left) 161211

Rudy's Lacius (Top) V Ricky's Cyclone (Bottom) 161211 (Recommended: thumbup.gif )

Congrats to Bro Ricky for winning the championship. rclxms.gif (..At least my Heartthrob lost to the eventual champion. tongue.gif )

Actually before the championship fight, we were all very excited with Bro Rudy's latest acquisition of a T Red called Red Devil.

This is the first time I see a T Red up close and it reminded me of ultraman as it is sort of shiny shiny one. The big question is whether Red Devil can fight or not ???????

Here is the answer:-

Rudy's Red Devil (Bottom) V Ricky's Spade (Top) 161211

Rudy's Red Devil (Top) V Randy's Svendricks (Bottom) 161211

Rudy's Red Devil (Left) V Ricky's Musso (Right) 161211

Red Devil can fight well and is a very strong fighter too.

However credit must also be given to our beloved T Bha who like Bro Viper's Hyperion dared to take on bigger opponents without fear.

I really hope to see Hyperion V Red Devil as both about same size ...Do you?

Your Exspiderking

Randy

P.S I will be away from tomorrow to Wednesday.

Hi Bro Mindstorm,

You are Most Welcome for it..!! nod.gif Oh ya i recognised him in the photo it is Berneldus.. not Dark Soul cos one is Bluish and one is Golden, so is DarkSoul still around..?..Nice fun there testing out the T.Sub with T.Bha and the 1st time experience seeing it Live is always Best and Irreplaceable..! Actually regarding the T.Sub vs T.Bha thing, whatever needed to test out, i have already tested it all with the Full Team of my 11 T.Sub since 2 months ago! LOL.. with the assistance of some helpful SG Kakis.. at that time i put in lots of effort and time to understand each and everyone of them well.. and categorized them into 3 main fighters group, Low to Mid to Top.. of cos if You and Bro Jason were to come at that time (16th Oct) as scheduled, you guys can see it ALL.. Ok regarding to the 2 T.Sub as the only 2 available experimental T.Sub models at your side.. i have to say that actually not every T.Sub will act like a "Blur King" towards a T.Bha, it really depends on which T.Sub is on the stage and whether is he still in his Prime period just like a T.Bha, this surely affects how well a FS can perform.. and how the Owner trains and conditions his T.Sub before a match.. a T.Sub Male is surely Not as easy to Understand as a T.Bha Male.. Pro in T.Bha stuff doesnt necessarily means will be Pro in T.Sub stuff.. a Hard Lesson i learnt.

Below is a Series of Experimental tried-out involving my Various T.Sub with the T.Bha, with videos as examples.

Let's take a look at the way on how my Top Few T.Sub reacted when facing the Fair Fiters T.Bha:

Stout, the Fiercest Looking T.Sub who resembles totally like a T.Bha Orpow, most SG Kakis after seeing him actually told me he looks the Most Handsome among all.. See how Enthusiastic he was when spotted a FS from far.

In this video we can really see a little of Arms Pushing by the 2 Different Species, the T.Bha was just a ML-size one.. but becos of the Huge Size Gap, i would say that even a XL-size Strong Fair Fiter T.Bha will not make any difference.

Fatty was the Smallest T.Sub among all.. was only meant as a Spar when Bro Xarms sent it here.. Small but quite consistent in fights.

Actually T.Sub fighters are just like T.Bha fighters, there are always breeds of Kecut fighters, So-So fighters, Good fighters and Solid fighters.. i believe this is nothing New to all of us when we hunt and play the T.Bha.. same goes for a Male's Different Phases when in Captivity *provided moulted not long ago*.. will usually go thru an Unstable period then to his Stable period then to his Prime period and lastly to his Downhill period.. one thing for sure is that T.Sub Males are generally less Aggressive than T.Bha Males, they are also not very Receptive to a Different Species when spotted them ahead.. T.Bha Males are much better in this sense.. and actually we dun need a L-size T.Bha to be able to confront a much bigger T.Sub, a M-size is good enough to do it.

Please take a look at the video below:

Tatsuya is my Nov Batch No.1 and he is 2nd ranking in size.. only abit smaller than Basara in his Head Size but is bigger than Berneldus and DarkSoul.. noticed the Size Gap between them is even Greater.. there are 3 Different T.Bha Males in this video, the 3 M-size Males were not even being psyched up before testing.. Bro Syamil just caught it and let me tried.. unlike some looking good L-size(s) out there still have to be "Coaxed" before they can face a Huge T.Sub.. yawn.gif

Examples on how a Low, Mid and a Top Rated T.Sub to face off a T.Bha Chopster:

T.Bha chopped at him twice and he ran off.. not even knowing what happened in the first place.

Preparing to block the chop and ward it off promptly.

Even in a unprepared mode can also stay firm at his ground.

One Biggest impact *with sound effect* by a T.Bha Chopster who launched his Pounce behind an Unaware T.Sub:

The T.Bha Chopster is a ML-size one.. you can see the T.Sub really just feel abit of "itchiness" only.. but maybe a XL-size T.Bha Chopster can do more damage to it.. but in my opinion it is just.. abit more itchy lor.. Lol.. laugh.gif

And Yes!!!
Well-said by You and Bro Jason.. 果然有眼光..! smile.gif
1) "but in the end the effect was no-effect."
2) "Cannot penetrate the skin...!"

How a T.Sub Partial Chopster faces off a T.Bha:

Lastly, but not tried against on any T.Bha before.. after i passed Adam to Bro Yuda, he actually trained him into a Ferocious T.Sub Flying Chopster.. below is a match of him with my another T.Sub.. and just imagine what would be the consequences if it was a T.Bha's left arm being aimed by him:

Bro Mindstorm, with these Supporting Videos i think it should be Clearer to you now.. a T.Sub Male can be as Responsive and Ferocious as a T.Bha Male as well.. it really depends on what kind of Breed he comes from, his Age and how the Owner trains and conditions him.. if being Discovered fully how to Effectively train all T.Sub Males into a Consistent Chopster like Bro Yuda's Adam, that will be really Devastating to any other kind of Thiania Male we have since came across.. that's why Bro Yuda was our SG Spider King mah.. brows.gif ..and to pit against 2 such T.Sub Males is also another thing we have yet the chance to materialise.. gotta wait till next time as the T.Sub Males Season is Over by now.

And my Summary on the 2 Thianias Brothers:

T.Sub is indeed the Elder Brother of T.Bha.. T.Bha are never meant to fight against the T.Sub simply due to the Vast Size Difference.. in a Deliberate Match-Up between the 2 Thiania Species, simply choosing a T.Sub Chopster on the platform will suffice.. on the other hand, the Best T.Sub vs T.Sub match we can ever video will also never be able to match the Best T.Bha vs T.Bha Match in terms of Fight Quality and Intensity, this is also another fact *but already accepted by all Kakis including myself*.. to sum up, T.Sub is the Best as a Pet and T.Bha is the Best for Fighting Pleasure.. to be Frank i dun really Biased against one of them if not i will stop hunting T.Bha by now.. i actually like both equally.. if given a choice to play both, why not.. biggrin.gif
