That part about castrated male spider is pretty interesting.

However, don't know why whenever my Fs become Chopster, they can't fight well. On the other hand, Bro Rudy's converted Chopster has consistently proven to be good fighters.

Simpai Pulai has giant FS....and I go there about maybe once a year. Next time I will stop to hunt there. I am still hoping to see some photograph or video of Bro Yamaha 444's giant FS.

In the meantime, been actively hunting and have an able opponent for Bro Rudy's Baby called Babe II.

Babe II is maybe M size and likely half the size of Bro Yamaha 444's Beast

Wow wow,congrats bro jason & viper both of u has created "new stantatdard level" of longest fight..hw I wish my Fs can achieve the same level but preferable to b most "moving" ones in the video.

Yeah we don't hv any high end camera to take clear pic,photoshop is the only way to improve our pic's quality...

I was searching for some spider info on the web when came accross that websites.

I think during fight..some of the venom bites unable to neutralize... causing their hormone lvl and behaviour change.
The FS unable to do normal fighting stance or courting stance.. and later becomes very fierce.

Previously I also have Chopster FS that later becomes back normal after some fights.
Maybe its hormone lvl or genital working back to normal after some fights.

"We think, but are not sure, that the changes in behavior may be due to changing hormone levels" triggered by losing the pedipalps, said study co-author Matjaž Kuntner, a spider expert at the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Ljubljana.

Hey Bro BTL,

Good to see you back actively in forum. I hope Titanium can live up to its name but too bad he's an ice cream fighter. maybe newly moult, maybe by nature or maybe in transition period, I have no idea. Titanium placed last in my current fs rankings (6fs including 1 spar). I hope that by time through bro Viper's intensive training, he will be a better fighter.


P/s : the first grid taken before feeding after caught is about 8mm but the arm somehow does not match its body length. a 8mm by right should have longer arms

Congrats to Bro Seng for being champion again. His Virus very strong and at the last fight even did a suplex (must watch wrestling to understand).

The Ok fights are actually very exciting long fights.

Currently despite maximum daily effort, still can't get one good ML sized one to wrest the title belt from Bro Seng and/or Bro Ricky.

The answer to my quest to be champion again may lie in my smallest FS, Babe II (M sized). Don't laugh, I am a believer of small win big, though my small always lose to big during actual battle. Anyway, I now have my very own small win big fight video:-

M size is abt 6-6.5mm? Maybe can try fight with my Perdana and Genting Spar FS.

I noticed their fighting skill getting better nowdays and big appetite.

is it rare to find a FS at chilli padi plant i saw this female FS roaming at chili padi plant and here a picture of it eating a LC beetle!!

It is currently close to impossible to find chili plant in the wild in SG. So it would be equally close to impossible to find FS existing naturally at a chilli plant...in SG at least.

The leaf featured in the photo does not look like a chilli plant leaf at all. And LC beetle does not live/exist naturally on chilli plants. But the female FS look happy anyway

Wat i meant was , i found this female at my block the 1st floor i was going to the minimart near my Block, and i need to passby some house at 1st floor, and i was looking around and i notice that this female was roaming exactly on the chili padi plant, i quickly find any twig and slowly put on the leave and then it went up. i went home put in the container with the dry leave and went to go the minimart and went back hearding that Yuda Adam eats beetle and i wanted to try out so i put a beetle in front of the Dry leave house and then she choped it and 1 was excited cause 1st time see and then take photo. THE END

Fret not bro, I believe it is due to being newly moulted.... I still remember Titan also going through a period of "uncertainty" when i caught him, believe he has just moulted when i found him as the color is still very fresh. Took almost 2 weeks of TLC and progressive training before he gained his confidence...
Just give Titanium some time and some more with Viper as his personnel trainer, i believe he is in good hands.... "With great size comes great power!", 8mm is really no joke, once he is confident of himself, we will be able to see his prowess...haha... cant wait to see him in action!


Wa... seems everyone has their Golden Army ready... think i really have to buck up.... ...lol...

Able to take direct chop from chopster and counter attack back.

Yes, Prince of Darkness managed to do the seemingly impossible, that of overcoming SG biggest FS, YTH. If you fail, try try again.

Early this morning was not suppose to hunt as needed to reach home by 0900. Woke up at 5.30am and cannot tahan and decided to go for a very short hunt in the rain. Caught 5 Fs with rain coat and hat and the biggest was Prince of Darkness. He appeared slow and dark and tested him to see normal or Chopster. Well, that Spar I used though bright as the sun happened to be a Chopster and luckily Prince of Darkness tahan the chop. At home, took out a spar and that spar also turn out to be a Chopster.

To think that I wanted to avoid fighting my latest entry level ML with a Chopster.

The next question is Will Bro Ricky spoil my moment of happiness with Alexandra?

Next is my farewell fight for my former 1st King, Itchy. Itchy's 1st few fight was with Chopster (Bro Sophian's Van) and very quickly converted to a poor Chopster. During the week, I treated Itchy to a pretty non-virgin female Fs and I think that helped a bit as he used to be a bite and run off Chopster. He may have lost to V.i.a.g.r.a but Bro Towkay is legendary for catching very very strong willed FS (Stlll remember his Gd fiter?). Decided to release Itchy though he is still very healthy and grown to entry level ML.

Met up with bro Ura on Sunday morning since I was at NEX with my family. I've seen T. Sub photos on the net, seen bro Ura's Kazuo but have yet to witness the real big size T. sub personally. Ura shown me kazuo again (this time I find him not so big hehe) and then a blackie T. Sub (basara ?) followed by his largest T. sub.

When I saw the two largest T. subs, gosh, they looked at least one size bigger then Kazuo ! The king kong pow size ! It really make a difference when u see them on a pic and personally. Thanks bro Ura for bringing T. sub to the Sg/Malaysia fs circle. Hopefully I could adopt one from you soon

After the dust has settled, the question is who is the champion?

Enam, B.A (Hons), Sucker, Stylo and Kwak Kwak Kwak and V.i.a.g.r.a has not been defeated but had tuff fights which may compromise their well being if we insist on a fight-off.

As such, we have the first time in FS history multiple champions.

As we all proceed to step onto the champion's podium, we noticed that Bro Ricky cannot go up to the already crowded 1st position podium as ...err...for one more rare occasion he isn't champion.

So Bro Jason, you reading this....not sien as we take turns to be champion?

Most importantly, we had a great time.

Lastly, caught a good sized bu at Nirvana yesterday.

She is called Nikita and have released her today.

thanks to bro Randy once again posted so many fights + come with very interesting description on it.

I brought about 12 fses on suday's fs bout,50% older batch & another 50% were newly caught. most of my newly caught still with ice-cream looks,lost in battle ardy under my expectation,but i never think of those my older batch also completely destroyed by almost every bros here..

My big congrats to err...1,2,3,4..5 champion holder except me?? 1st time i heard all champion with only one loser in a competetion, sounds crazy but tis final decision is make by head of "singapore-FS-community" so we just follow la wat to do..

Woah! Hi everyone! I'm an old timer 80's kid from Singapore who grew up completely FS seow. I am the first true 'ang-moh/mat salleh' FS addict. Took me 2 days to read this 80 plus pages thread. Growing up all over S.E.A, I have been a hardcore FS hunter since primary 3 back in the day after I was introduced these guys by a malay classmate of mine who had a blood thirsty chop. My addiction grew until its climax right before o-levels, when the trend began to wain with gaming consoles being the new thing for kids. In later years young kids were taken by such things as Digimon, Pokemon, all of which are based on the culture of FS. Luckily, I taught my younger brothers how to be expert FS hunters. I often cycle more than 20km and trek into any jungle if I sense a spot. Looking back, I was more ballsy than now - just sitting in my office wearing shirt and tie. I stopped catching and playing these shortly before NS, once in a while getting back in an afternoon hunt for a King Kong Pao. After NS, I went on to breed and fight fighting fish, also known as plakat. Now almost reaching my 30s, I just recently began hunting again 5 days ago. It's great to see this forum thread, as back in the day we did not have any communication on spots, techniques and were all mad hunters in our own ways. Glad to know that there are people like me. Lotsa great training taboo still make me laugh when I recall them (eg: chilli padi, putting the kang in your elbow and squeeze him so he bites and sucks your blood). Yesterday, I went back to some of my old hunting grounds, some secret spots still untouched, others urbanised beyond recognition. I live in the East now, but no doubt areas such as, Thomson, Bishan, Bukit Timah, Peirce, LCK and Sembawang are still the best haunts due to the presence of large forestation area with water sources still there. After hunting for so long, you can literally feel them and sense their presence. Also they have a type of smell if you are sharp enough to sense them. I am glad that some areas still have healthy stock. Great also to see that some bros here have T.Sub variations. Though some might argue against it, I truly believe that T.Sub wild variations can be caught in SG. I myself have landed a few with iridescence covering almost 70% of the legs. Very rare but highly possible. Big respect to all the videos, pictures and support from the bros on this thread keeping an awesome tradition alive. Okay, I'm off to hunt some in a nearby plot during my lunch break in a tie. Haha. Hope to catch up with some of you guys for a little sparring. Cheers!!
