Nice fights Viper Perdana is impressive. I like your white 'arena' you created.

On another note, I got itchy today so I went for a lunchtime hunt at a place I used to catch a lot of large FS. I have a love/hate relationship with this place. Love it cause its always give me Kang no smaller than M size. I hate it cause it is always muddy and most of the time the FS are not 'home' but instead jumping about looking for trouble. Not to mention Yam leaves are my least favoured plant as they are always delicate and don't hold the nest form well when you have to cut.



Didn't have much time but I was rewarded today with 6 young good size Kang in an hour for my efforts that caked my shoes with mud. The largest one of them I named 'Trigga'. From the 5 other i caught, none so far can stand toe to toe with Trigga. He will be a good match for my larger unbeaten 'Greenbean' at home. Almost similar arm length so I can see a good match-up finally.

Was lucky enough to see a 'live' match between to wild kangs on these leaves. Unfortunately missed catching both of them due to their post-fight jittery-ness.



Also caught 2 very large 8mm Bu at the location which I will try to breed with my larger males before I release.



Among the hunt was an interesting find of an old Kang with 'zero' iridescence with only 5 legs. Image what hell he has been through.

Yo Bro Evan, that is an Interesting Post you penned.. ..I like your FS GreenBean man, He definitely has a Pair of Long&Thick Arms, at least a Big ML size in our FS Size Dictionary i suppose.. Plus his Wide Stance is really Amazing.. seldom see a FS open till so wide.. almost 180degree wide..

Maybe Bro Ura's Enam and Bro Seng's [B]YTH [/B] could matched Greebean in terms of size. The closest I have in size is Prince of Darkness but he has suddenly grown old and slow. Will release him instead of fighting him. Glad he had a good fight with YTH. This is his last photo and fight:-

My earlier post was somehow deleted and here is the fresh one.

We, Bros Ura, Syamil, Faris, Seng, Rudy, Ah Kim, Ricky and me met up in Thomson Road on 201111. Bro Evan joined is later. We had T-Bha and T Sub fights.

Before going, I tested Nature Boy to make sure he qualified for the team.

I went with a balanced team, old and young FS. I have started my new way of rearing/training my bigger but weaker FS like The Master, Barbarian and B.A (Hons). I gave them a small sized female companion and I think this back to basic approach should work.

I have also totally stopped using tap water and use fish tank water as spider drinking water as well as money plant from the wild.

I like Xander's strong will, even though seem smaller in size but he push sakura to its limit . very nice to see weekly champhionship with more and more participants. I hope to join this coming weekend if nothing goes wrong. After my last batch of fs died due to unknown reason (including titanium) I kinda stop hunting also because of the rainy weather..hope to catch some fire soon

Yeah.. Xander have strong fighting will and determination to win the fight

Size different is very obvious! Sakura seems underestimated Xander. Xander much smaller but keep attacking continuously. Abt 13X close range grab, chops and strong push! Xander uses its hind leg to do jump push several time! Sakura get pushed back and on defensive mode most of the time, only did 2-3X counter attack, try to attack from higher position and flipped Xander but still not able to stop Xander relentless attack! Sakura retreat in the end after kena bite many times.

Thiania FS species... a well known type of spider that can fight thats why ppl call these species as fighting spiders.
Males thiania species alwys the stronger and dominant types..especially when comes to fighting.
With good spar and strong fight.. the male thiania fs have good chance to improve their fighting skills.

Its just that some of the Thiania sub species males dont have much exposure or chance to fully display their fighting capability
and lack preference among its FS kakis. To think about the thiania subspecies female FS fight overshadow their males fs fights, more preferred and tons of videos uploaded in youtube all this while/previously, its quite odd and yet amazing.

Good to know theres some new videos to show these thiania males species can fight as good as it should be expected from thiania species line.

They are searching for a species of spiders called Thiania subopressa (meaning "Leopard Tiger") among the green leaves.

Thiania subopressa usually hide among the leaves. There are obvious differences between the male and female spiders. For example, a male Thiania subopressa has white face and long legs, and is very active.

Yes, it was a very exciting FS weekend for all of us. Got T Bha and T Sub fights...

In my quest for FS dominance, I have secretly kept 2 good sized strong fighter aside, Punisher and Brutal hoping to introduce them this weekend.

However, don't know why they turned chop (nearby then chop type) after 1 week plus with the best care possible.

So which is stronger, Punisher or Brutal?

The only way to find out is to fight them:-

When i came back from work... sky almost dark already and its been raining in the evening pass few days..
Just have short time to catch fruit flies to feed my FS..

Indoor lightning not bright enough to give clear video recording.. nevertheless heres some new FS fight videos.



Genting FS also become chopster already.. Genting Long Arm still have fighting stance but will chop when fight starts.
Can see in the above videos...

Perdana and other Genting FS still having their dinner... no fight for them.
All looks kinda aggressive n likes to sprint fast when i take them out...
If fight... sure bloody merry.
