Sigh, I'm not sure why my turtle won't eat and kinda afraid when I got near.
This happened after I changed the water. First time, this thing happened to my turtle.
Is it because he get stressed? Is there anymore solution? He already stopped to eat for about 3-4 days already.

QUOTE(slackerz @ Mar 10 2011, 03:08 PM) greattt........congratz SAM.. Thanks and with the amount of Sulcata my colony is churning out - I might consider releasing some so as to tip the balance / change the local fauna scene !! LOL Isnt it what they want all the time !! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- P/S Before you guys ask can they survive our humid condition ? I would say beter than most Indian Star or even imported Radiated due to them being truly 100% MADE in Malaysia !! Their parents waddle in the mud like Red-Footed and M.emys or Elongata when it rains !!

nice going sam. now show us those ploughshare babies please i still remember that back in 2008 some @sshole (that made a living by 'tipping off' the wildlife department and caused misery to fellow hobbyists) spread-ed the rumor that leopard and sulcata are going to be listed in CITES 1 lmao.

Lovely "RES" you hatched there Sam LMFAO!!! Anyway, I need to ask whether my turtles' growth rate is normal or not. I bought them when they were only a few weeks old (around 2 to 3 weeks). They arrived somewhere around end of September or early October last year. And this is their size now. Is this slow, normal or fast? Thanks! Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(camillenoir @ Mar 1 2011, 07:53 AM) We had a Q&A session with the Wildlife Department in Shah Alam yesterday morning, and it seems like there is still a chance for keepers who still had not declared their scheduled tortoises and turtles. For those affected by Act 716 (Peninsular Malaysia), it is advisable to declare any scheduled species before the grace period ends in June. Once the Act is fully operational (it had been enforced but so far no actions had been taken) there would be no excuse to not have permits as the authorities had given not once, but 2 chances to get them legalized. Another session will be conducted in Langat area very soon, and every state branch in the peninsular will conduct them. So if you have any doubts, questions, or simply want to express concern or dissatisfaction, please attend these sessions. I will try to post information regarding times and venues as best as I could. Hi bro, Meaning i can stil declare any pets under CITES now? Or i need to wait until further announcement? Thanks God, i missed the previous grace period

Hello TTT, I am a fond RES keeper. Seems like there is few people keeping RES here. I find RES the most colorful of all turtle varieties, luckily it is also the cheapest. Anybody else RES-ing here?
