I'm a big fan of silhouette shots and finally here is my own, took this during sun set at Putrajaya.

Initially had a lot of flare when I had my UV filter on (Kenko UV, yea... single coated is damn good in producing unwanted flares), removed it but still got a little sad.gif. No nano coating on my 18-105 kit lens T_T.

I got my 50mm f/1.8D for RM380 (Melaka pricing), the 50mm f/1.4D can get about RM980 or so I think. But pricing should be better and more competitive at KL I guess.

what camera did you use? few factors, your ISO-320 could be the one make it a bit noisy, could be your software too. but i don't really see any noise there also hmm.gif just very slight on the lighted areas.

the distance is shown at your lens focus ring, if 0.84m, you can check back at your lens, you must have MF to 0.84m on the scale.
