what kind of effect? X-ray effect? any sample photos taking with it?

Its an IR filter if not mistaken. But for sony one its a camcorder and after 1 month release they recall back their products due to this problem.

yup..seems like IR filter.. just googling some.. dunno about the sample images..

u sure is IR?? coz from what i know..IR cant see through body..

Only IR cant but because of a feature in that camcorder it allows u to partially see thru clothes... like a wet white t-shirt or something like that, not really sure. Sorry.

nope..there are rumor from last year..but till now nikon haven made any announcement...u try ask that guy that soon is when??

Its only been released a month and got recalled back by sony so many ppl didnt know about it cause the thing came out quite a while ago. Try google it, should see some news about it.

hmm that's different already, heat sensor camera, i don't think there's a filter for it. anyway, won't be of any use for photography camera, only video cams for them to use in airport to monitor your body temp so that you don't spread H1N1

After that poisoned by IR, but luckily can hold myself not to mod the body for IR
If got the heat sensor then that might be interesting

I was at a food review event last Sunday, for a moment the lens didnt focus/move at all untill I turn it on and off or something.


Camera + lens baru beli in April

Ok, here's the thing. The stuffs i heard about last time lar. The camcorder equipped with night vision feature. Sony didnt know about the see thru ability. Dunno where out of the blue, someone found this see thru feature by adding an IR filter onto the camcorder and because of that, sony recalled back all the models with night vision features.
It has something to do with the lightings and i forgot what i read last time. It was in the internet newspaper.
End of story.

Its been a while (no, its not recent, more like a year or 2) thats why nobody talk about it anymore since u cant get them anywhere liao. Yes, it exist. But whether u believe it or not u cant get them anymore.

such lenses filter exist, and still available online. But applicable to used with nightvision capable device such as camcorder. Here some variates of the filter

I got a question...

why when Im using pop up flash with kit lens (18-105mm), the maximum shutter speed in only 1/60

and when Im using with 50mm lens..the max shutter speed is only 1/200

even Im using manual setting, set max shutter speed, when pop up the flash..it will limit the shutter to the said speed...

anyone have idea...
