Yes im planning to change. This year my Vios will be 8 yrs old. But its gonna be very difficult to leave Toyota. So still targetting the upcoming Camry. If not ill just keep my Vios. No problems so far so no reason to hurry for a change.

Yes i might change if the specs and prices are better. I give alot of importance to after sales service and resale value in addition to pricing and specs of course. The latest Sonata is priced too close to the Camry. If they make the same mistake with the Avante then it will become a problem.

I like silver. Makes the car look bigger too. Another colour I like is the Graphite Mica on Mazda 3. Mix of grey and silver.

Problem with white is its just becoming too common. Last time solid colours were cheaper than metallic colour. Who knows. In the future they might charge you a premium.

I hope they don't do that. Its just going to make people give a negative perception on the brand. I rather they add more features instead. Or consider doing something pre-owned e.g. BMW or VW. This is to preserve resale value too.

i think no one cares about resale value when it is hyundai... most people buy hyundai eventhough they know hyundai's 2nd hand value is freaking low.. they buy cos they want to buy... for a rational person giving thoughts about resale value then most likely he or she wont buy hyundai

I have to agree if you buy a Hyundai resale value is not your major concern. But on the flipside as an owner who paid full price and seeing the distributor dump prices I would not be happy because it cheapens the car especially if I have plans to sell the car (to upgrade to another Hyundai) and there are no willing buyers.

Potential customers would hold back purchase expecting massive discounts which Hyundai has to do or it will lose customers. If Hyundai wants to move upstream and price their cars higher this would be one of their stumbling blocks.

Ultimately this would lead to a more negative impression of the brand and Hyundai will always be stuck in a niche market position. For Hyundai they have to sell on volume because they are competing in the mass market segment. Just some thoughts to share. Hope no offense taken.
